The "People's Republic of China" doesn't include the word Communist does it? Their economy is going to surpass the US because their leaders are actually acting more like they believe in capitalism than the leaders in the US are acting. Calling oneself Communist and actually being Communist are not the same thing anymore than calling oneself a Republic actually makes your government a Republican form of governance or throwing in People's means that you are interested in the people's opinion on how they want to be governed.

Sadly it's one of the foundational organisational principles for society. I agree that it's wrong. Sadly it's not going anywhere. It's too ingrained.

Very true. This racial segregation began with the colonisation of the Americas. it served a specific end. It has since become normative.Race may be here to stay for a very long time. First, there has to be an understanding of the implications of this. We can't really move forward without that.

Did I say only sociologists can make an argument? If so I was wrong. Anybody can have an opinion. Sociologists study social science so a sociologist may have insight on the subject. It doesn't mean sociologists all know what they are talking about.
