He had an oxygen tank, else he would have died. Also the Whale seems to have held on to him until he got to the air and then 'spat' him out - perhaps the whale thought he was saving the poor human

Yeah I would hold off making a judgement on this story. Last night on the local news it was suggested by the news team that the story may have been fabricated by the diver.

Not saying it is fabricated, but there are some holes in his story that aren't adding up.

Waiting for more info to come out in the future

Not yet, but marine biologists who were interviewed do not believe it happened as the diver said. They said it's possible, but unlikely.
