After reading the article, I was glad that the mom and daughter were able to use the money for such a good cause, but I feel like the daughter is a little overly disrespectful toward her father... She shouldn't have commented negatively on his actions, IMO... Whether he was right or wrong.

I would never publicly insult my father, or take part in posting images of him doing something foolish to the media to make him look bad.

That's a petty thing to do. Granted, there are always two sides to every story, but that is a lot of pennies, lol. Dude, ease up on the resentment. The daughter sounds hurt, too. That's too bad.

...he isn't her father or he wouldn't be pouring 440 lbs (thanks Sabretooth!) of pennies in front of her house and he looks bad/foolish because he did something bad/foolish.

The father was a jerk but he should have to continue paying while his daughter is in college. At least most dad's I know have to. (That would be a perfect ending) lol

It was a really petty gesture on the father's part. If he had issues with the mother, he needed to keep it between them. I've known too many divorced couples who use the kids as pawns in some kind of war. All it does it hurt the children.
