Elder Philotheos of Karakallou June 11, one of the eldest disciples of Elder Ephraim, Abbot for almost 40 years.
Abbot of Athonite Karakallou Monastery speaks out on COVID and vaccines
And we can see in the way they are now imposing the vaccine that the dark forces have their ultimate goal. We have also been prepared for this by the Revelation of St. John the Evangelist, and we have been warned by the Apostolic Fathers who speak of the days of the Antichrist,” Abbot Philotheos continues.

This ultimate goal and purpose is the “future sealing,” Fr. Philotheos explains. “And they’re preparing for all this now. So we see in what a dictatorial way they are trying to push the vaccine! With what brainwashing from the media and the internet! And we know they’re paying the reporters, the channels, and all that.”

“They abolish democracy, abolish human rights, abolish so many things these days. How do they reconcile all this? Under the pretext, of course, of the pandemic that they have produced,” the abbot says.

“They are already saying that the coronavirus will come even stronger in the autumn so they can influence the rest of the people! But all this troubles us and causes us, justifiably of course, to be suspicious. And that is why we see the work of the devil behind all of this,” Fr. Philotheos warns.

“We hope in the enlightenment of God and in the goodwill of many Christians and intelligent people who see this and resist it and sense that something is happening behind it all. And as you can see, many things will be revealed. The grace of God will reveal them.”

Several other Athonite elders have made several warnings, including Elder Parthenios, the abbot of St. Paul’s Monastery, Elder Euthymius of the Holy Resurrection Kallyva in Kapsala, who was a disciple of St. Paisios, Elder Gabriel of the Kelli of St. Christodoulos of Patmos, also a spiritual child of St. Paisios, and Elder Paul of Vouleftiria, a doctor of molecular biology and biomedicine.

Various Writings of Archbishop Averky of Blessed Memory
We have neither the strength nor the authority to stop Apostasy, as Bishop Ignatius stresses: "Do not attempt to stop it with your weak hand..." But what then should we do? "Avoid it, protect yourself from it, and that is enough for you. Get to know the spirit of the times, study it so that you can avoid its influence whenever possible" .

Days will come when being a Christian will cost too much; then the real Christians will show up. - Bishop Augustine Kantiotis

St. Ephraim the Syrian: “True, unlike false, obedience will not listen to seductive Heresy. But true obedience is the likeness of a pure betrothed (maiden), who is not drawn after the voices of strangers; and the ear which turns aside a little from the Truth is like the Adulteress who turns aside from her consort; and the ear which is led to all Teachings is like the harlot who is persuaded by every one who calls her. Let us, therefore, refute that erring obedience which is infected by the words of the liar, which, instead of the name of the true Bridegroom, loves the name of its corrupter. For it has consented that the name of Mani should be proclaimed over it, and not the name of the Messiah.”

Do not tolerate any more foolishness or misguidance from priests or archpriests. Do not turn a blind eye for you will be co-responsible. The Saints are forewarning you.” St John Maximovitch

Babies were aborted alive, placed in fridge to harvest cell lines used in some vaccines: researcher

So these babies were literally placed into the fridge alive and then stored between one and 24 hours until they could be dismembered, basically. And this is right there in the scientific literature,” she said.

The kidney was taken from a “completely normal” preborn girl aborted in 1972 who, according to Alex van der Eb, the doctor leading the team to develop the cell line, had “nothing wrong” with her.

“We're talking probably 100s of abortions,” she said at that time.

“Dr. Plotkin tried to say something similar, that the cell lines involved in the creation of vaccines only came from two abortions. But that ignores the other 74 babies that were a part of the research he was doing. It's published in the literature that other HEK and HER (human embryonic retina) cell lines are attributed to Frank Graham. So his research definitely involved more than one abortion.”

Guidance on Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine
Are any COVID-19 vaccines available that are not tested or produced using a cell line derived from an aborted child?
No, for now, all vaccines for the COVID-19 virus being distributed are produced and/or tested with cell lines that originated from an aborted child. Each person/family must make a prudential decision with an informed conscience and do what is best for you, your family, and your community.

Completely secular research shows you probably only need one shot, and you probably never did.
Covid-19: People who have had infection might only need one dose of mRNA vaccine
Covid-19: People who have had infection might only need one dose of mRNA vaccine

Two weeks after a single dose of vaccine, people who had previously had covid-19 had antibody concentrations that were as high, or up to 10 times higher, than the levels seen in uninfected people who had received two doses of the vaccine.

Had COVID? You’ll probably make antibodies for a lifetime

St Paisios: on having zero excuse
Christ is tolerating the present state of things. He tolerates, and divine Grace acts for the sake of our people. This is only a storm. Things will not stay this way; they will clear up. Don’t you see what it says in the Gospel: A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench, until He brings forth justice to victory.[Isa 42:3; Mt 12:20] Christ said this so that we will have no excuse on Judgement Day.

When the oil lamp is running out of oil and there’s only a little oil left in the wick, it may flicker for a while, but in the end it will go out.

It is like the last flashes of life in a dying person. But Christ does not want to blow on it and put it out because then it might protest, “Until you blew on me and put me out, I was so burning so bright!”

What do you mean, I put you out? There was no oil in you to begin with!" And He will not touch the bruised reed either, because then it will protest: “You touched me and I broke into pieces!” How can you say that I touched you and that’s why you broken, when you were already cracked and bound to break on your own?

Isa 42:3; Mt 12:20; a bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.

Rejection of Despair | A Russian Orthodox Church Website
We shouldn’t despair when we’re not as we should be. Of course it’s bad to sin. But why do you disrespect God and, in your ignorance, think him weak?

Is he who made this great world for you unable to save your soul? And if you say, ‘That’s probably a condemnation of me, as is his acceptance’, repent and your repentance will be accepted, as was that of the Prodigal (Luke 15, 20) and the Harlot (Luke 7, 47-48).

If you can’t even do this, but continue to sin when you don’t want to, have the humility of the Tax-Collector (Luke 18, 13) and that’s enough for your salvation.

A "dry run" for the establishment of evil. The vaccine isn't the evil, it only prepares the world for it.

I don’t really think so.

They kinda did the same thing with polio and smallpox back in the day, yellow card and everything.

Actual news, rumors, and misinformation spreads faster now with the internet.

Vaccines don’t really make sense. Most of the medical world doesn’t make sense.
St Luke was a doctor. While we shouldn’t blindly trust/have faith in doctors and when in doubt always get a second opinion (they are human prone to error after all), I do believe God works through (some/most of) them. I’m not naïve enough to believe there's not unethical doctors out there; that’s why the Nuremberg Code was created: unethical doctors exist.

Many people argue that the death rate isn’t high.

1.8% in the US doesn’t look high but per 100k people about 182 people died.
The death rate in Peru is 9.4%. That’s 577 deaths per 100k people. That’s about 5 deaths per 1,000 people.

Incident rate is calculated by the number of new cases or deaths divided by the population. Hence why larger populations look smaller in regards to smaller populations.
However, its more complicated that just looking at percentages.
Here is the important part: deaths are low in first world countries and cities because of infrastructure and access to medical equipment.

Peru’s population is approximately 32 million. The US population is approximately 328 million.
Now imagine how bad it would be if the US death rate was as high as Peru’s is right now.
It would be awful.
It’s called triage. They do it in war.

And while they are just predicting it could be worse this autumn, it very well might not.

I don’t think vaccines are necessarily evil.
That being said, the medical technology should be/is there for alternatives for abortion-free vaccines.

Now, if and when they start doing akin to biological transhumanism or immortality transhumanism especially when it gets mainstream, I’ll start to be worried about the medical world. Cause sure, loopies gonna be loopy but it’s not mainstream (yet) lol

Point is other Orthodox have said it is okay.

Also, I really don’t know what to do at this point. I get my second moderna shot soon and my priest is leaving because he’s being stationed somewhere else so our church doesn’t really have a preist at the moment. ☹️

I got vaccinated, and watching Orthodox clerics die one after another because they refused to follow precautions is all the proof I need that I did the right thing.

Where are all these clerics dying? That seems to be a fantasy of selection bias.
I could say the exact same thing about you. Patriarch Irenej, anyone? Attended a funeral where no one was masked and no one social distanced and promptly caught COVID and died.

Unfortunately, there is this thing called the is-ought barrier, so even if all the unvaccinated died suddenly right now of Covid, it would not inherently say anything about the rightness or wrongness of the act of taking the vaccine.

I dunno, surviving a pandemic seems to speak pretty positively of getting vaccinated. Unless Jonas Salk was actually a commie fraud and we all should have just thrown in the towel with polio.
