Knowledge Puffs Up, Love Builds Up.
1 Corinthians 8:
2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything,
he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
John 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love,
just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
It always comes back to obedience.
Matthew 7:
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name,
cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?
23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me,
you who practice lawlessness!
1 John 4:
19 We love Him because He first loved us.
20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love
his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
