Sadly no. Life got busy a few months ago and I honestly forgot all about that book. Planning to pick it back up soon.
One sentence a day, or proof reading one paragraph a day, would add up to quite a lot over a year, without taking much out of each day.

I feel kind of arrogant for writing a book
Arrogant? Not at all. Everyone is entitled to disseminate their views, and the places that don't allow that freedom are generally horrible places to live, with appalling human rights records.

Really though the book is more of a place to put a lot of my ideas in one place so then I can focus on trying to launch some sort of social media presence.
Is that what people often do? Book, followed by social media presence, then earning money from YouTube views? It's not my kind of thing, but I think it's great that the internet has enabled self-publication, and that all the gatekeepers of old can be bypassed.

Initially I was writing for about 10 minutes a day. Not for the sake of not having a enough time but because I hate writing. I was born with a language disorder, so work structure, grammar do not come easily to me. Trying to express myself can be a very uncomfortable and confident crushing experience.

Lol.. probably a stupid feeling I have. I guess I just view writing a book is smug compared to writing in a blog or something.

I do not think so.

Personally I do not expect to make any money, nor is that my motivation. Most likely I'll just be a failure. Especially these days when my personality has really dried up. But.. well we have a finite time on earth and I think it's good for people to air their voice and opinions when they can.

I was thinking if I ever have kids (ha ha yeah right), I'd have them homeschooled, but I guess that might be too much pressure on the wife & me. Maybe private school?

BTW, do we have any teachers on here?

I just turned 37 today. ^-^

.... Aaaaaaa cute 37. Someone recently tried to tell me I was middle-aged (and that it's therefore dumb and/or creepy that just being around a lady for whom I have a romantic fondness causes me to blush sometimes).
Bah, I say to that.:preach:

I stepped on a large 2 inch thorn from what I am guessing was some sort of hawthorn tree the other day while barefoot. It didn't hurt so bad at first, but today it's pretty sore! Fun, fun!!:muahah:

Personally, I don't consider middle-aged until one has hit 50. Hopefully that makes you feel better.

I assume it's the same one as before?

As to the person to whom my fondness is directed, yes. This fellow who accused me of being a "middle-aged" fool/creeper, however, was someone I do not know who butted in on a conversation he was not a part of. So I figure there was a bit of angst about getting older that a particular someone was wishing to project upon another person the moment he felt he had overheard an opportunity.

The feeling of age, dear sirs and madams, does not lie in a numeric representation of the passing of time so much as it does up here, like a potentially viral plague of the brain. *taps side of forehead*
^-^

I even have greying hair at the bangs right now, but the way I see it, coupled with my ever-increasingly hairless face - thanks to the electrolysis treatments I am currently going through - this doesn't mean I am getting all old. It just means I am looking more like a badass youth from anime. ^_^ The young guys who know how to fight with awesome powers in 90% of anime out there often have completely silver-grey hair. You just have to see these kinds of things in a positive light. :D

Speaking of, my crush was unfortunately forced to show up late into my shift last night and four hours early for her own. Just about all of us there have felt that ridiculously unnecessary burden of having to work 16 hours total instead of just 12 before, likely not once but several times, and I gave my brief sympathies. She seemed chipper enough in spite of it, though, and we got along well for those four hours, assisting one another with little tasks here and there. She's really quite a lady. :)

Thanks, Miss Spaulding. Me, neither. ^-^
Like I had said above, I am sure the guy was just projecting insecurities about his own age when he so rudely butted in with this comment.

Me, neither. Shoot. If more elderly folk could retain such idealistic feelings and notions about one another even as they may stray ever closer to the sad reality of death that does await us all at the end of the road, I think it would be a great thing. Just because you may be 80 years old and possibly (although preferably and hopefully not) barely able to walk anymore, what would be wrong with falling in love with the little ol gray-haired grandma sitting in the pew in front of you during the early, less-noisy and populated Sunday morning service? I mean, if you are both unmarried, of course.
