No, you need to think about what you're trying to believe and get away from the people who taught you quasi-heresy, and try actually comprehending what you're reading in both the bible and people's posts. I certainly didn't say that the covenants were the same-the new fulfills the old, just as the Spirit accomplishes what the law could not (Rom 8:3-4). And if you understand the basics of the new covenant and God's will for and dealings with man from Genesis through Revelation you'll understand the difference that I wrote about, the full purpose of the cross and the blood.The "difference is", that God "found fault"' with the first covenant. (The Old Testament).
So, He brought in The Cross and the shed Blood of Jesus, and took care of all that was at "fault" regarding the First.
If you can find God on the Cross in the Old Testament, then keep saying they are the "same".
If not, think about what you are trying to believe, and get away from the people who taught you their legalism.
