2 Samuel 17:2-4I'm sorry but I don't see the word "panic" in the Bible. Can you please share the verse with us? Perhaps it is a different translation?
Thank you for the reference.2 Samuel 17:2-4
English Standard Version
I will come upon him while he is weary and discouraged and throw him into a panic, and all the people who are with him will flee. I will strike down only the king, and I will bring all the people back to you as a bride comes home to her husband. You seek the life of only one man, and all the people will be at peace.” And the advice seemed right in the eyes of Absalom and all the elders of Israel.
The enemies' armies all got into panick attack before Israelite ArmyThank you for the reference.
I really don't believe this has reference to a "panic attack". When people have a panic attack, isn't that something that happens "out of the blue" for no real reason? David would have had good reason to go into panic mode if the advice above would have been enacted upon.
Can sound repetitive but it's true. For the Christian today, we can bring our fears and anxieties to the Lord and find comfort in his care for us.

Nonetheless the topic of the thread is not panic attacks but remark the characteristics of god that when he strikes he means it.
