I’m not saying this is true as I’m not saying its not, but I’m tossing it out for a contemplation before God..

Scripture says;

‘God is a consuming fire’

The first expression of fire(Father) is light(Son) then the rising from the fire and light is heat(Spirit).. Where you have fire you always get light and heat as the expression of that which is in the fire… All being distinct and separate, one not being the other, but all being a perfect expression of the fire (God) ….

If you removed all the fire, light and heat from this creation, would you not get a darkness on the face of the deep?…

Is it possible that fire, light and heat are a base description of the Father, Son and Spirit, in the expressing of the Trinity in this creation for without fire, light and heat life would be impossible in this creation…. As it is true without the Father, Son and Spirit there is no life anywhere….

Not convinced either way, but enough to ponder before God…

Be blessed as we pursue our Father, Son and the Spirit, and the understanding of…

God is love. And love has relationship.

Regarding the topic. The father is the fire. The son is the light of that fire and we are the vessel to carry the fire

I believe " fire" has been misused quite a bit in many Christian circles.
This analogy leaves no room for " living waters" which is how Jesus Christ of Nazareth described Himself.
Fire refines ,tests, as well as destructs. The wheat and the chaff are gathered together and thrown into the fire which is judgment. This is " Gods consuming fire". We know who survives this second death, the righteous wheat.
The Holy Spirit came as a small still voice, as a dove and as divided tongues of fire yet these are poetic descriptions of the Holy Spirit. Not to be taken literally.
Often many do not read the entire passage from beginning to end of
Matthew 3:7-12.
It is often claimed that the Holy Spirit is fire but when one reads closely it is Jesus Christ of Nazareth who will either submerge one in His Holy Spirit or submerge one in unquenchable fire.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Dear one,
It is true that we have heard:
for our God is a consuming fire. -Hebrews 12:29 ESV

Likewise, we heard our Lord said :
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. -Revelation 3:18 ESV

So the Lord counsels that our faith are to be tested in the furnace of afflictions that we may cloth ourselves with righteous deeds.

As we have heard apostle Peter have said :
so that the tested genuineness of your faith'more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire'may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. -1 Peter 1:7

Likewise, we heard:
it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure"' for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. -Revelation 19:8

So when our faith were tested in the furnace of afflictions ? Are we not in pains. Yes, we are. And this is what we have heard:

It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? -Hebrews 12:7

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. -Hebrews 12:11

So God the Father refines us by fire, that our righteous deeds may be found to to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

As what we have heard from the Son, who is our Lord Jesus Christ:

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in Me may not remain in darkness.-John 12:46

Likewise, in proverbs, we heard:
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life, -Proverbs 6:23

So when we heard the commandment:
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. -2 Corinthians 4:6

So when God said,” Let light shine out of darkness ; was it not a command? It was.
Didn’t we hear our Lord said that our Lord have come into the world as light? Yes, we heard. Was it not the Lord’s teaching a light ?
Was not His teaching enlighten us ? Yes, His teaching is a light.

Where does this light shine out of, that God said ? Yes, the light has shone out of the darkness. Has this light shine in our hearts? So the Lord’s teaching is the light that has shone in the darkness of our hearts.

The Lord’s teaching is the light that give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

So those who believe in Christ; they are those who obey what they are taught in union with Christ; by the Lord’s teaching in their hearts they will not remain in darkness.

Dear one,
Yes, our God is a consuming fire. Thus it is important in the last days that we are so one in Christ, then we will stand strong in Christ and have great assurance in His comfort of love, that strengthen us to endure the coming afflictions.
