I am reminded of this scripture.
His message was not with wise and persuasive words. On what did Paul want their faith to rest?

1 Corinthians 2:3-5 NIV
I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

wrong...

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
You took the verse out of context and misuse it.
You completely avoided the fact God's drawing is done when men have been taught heard and learned.

Romans 1:16 the gospel is God's power unto salvation and man must hear, be preached that gospel to be saved, they are not born with an innate knowledge of the gospel nor do they learn the gospel from creation. Romans 1:20 deals with the proof of God's existence, His power and Divinity can be seen in His creation. All mankind at all times has had access to this proof hence are without excuse, atheists have no excuse.

Well I’ve been a Christian most of my life so asking me if I’ve ever had a green light spiritual experience is sort of like asking a cow if it eats grass.
On that basis, why would you run away from the question? (or be offended by it) You must have lots to share. Right?

And besides, some go their whole lives as Christians without ever having a Spirit-led experience with evangelism. I don't think it is as common as it should be. Especially when the church is teaching people to make converts with apologetics. (arguments)

work doesnt mean evangelism....

1 Thessalonians 4
and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you,

Of course it does. As Christians that’s part of the work we do. Every Christian is called to live a missional life.

Revelation 3

7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

For several reasons, It is my contention that the great commission was meant for the 11 that Jesus was directly addressing and in no way did it extend past the 11.
How about "yes" and "no?" Commissioning the Apostles to go into the whole world, make converts, and baptize is obviously a big thing. It's the start of the church outside of the small territory where Christ and the Apostles had lived.

But the continued spread of the church thereafter obviously had to be continued, and we see in Scripture some of the Apostles commissioning other men to continue that job, so this seems certain to be part of the project as well.

I am not saying that we shouldnt evangelize, but this evangelism should be a response to inquiry, not a pro-active pursuit.

I cannot think of a good reason why "the greatest story ever told" should hide its light under a bushel. Logically, it doesn't make sense.

no it doesnt, this is a very "western" view. there are people in the world who cannot share the gospel openly and freely. the are just as much a part of the kingdom as you and I. people are draw to their Holy Spirit even if they cannot openly evangelize. God can do the rest. he doesnt need us to accomplish his will. I am astounded that you keep saying this.

As i have stated before, God doesnt need us to accomplish his will. he allows us to participate. i never said i didnt want to share the gospel, only that we arent obligated to do so.

You’re way off. Your philosophy has entirely zero biblical support.

Well I am a bit of an evangelist so to me the question just didn’t make sense but that’s ok if you didn’t understand that. Peace and Blessings.

Yep that’s exactly what I’m saying.

Ephesians 4:11-12
King James Version

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

You know, people say that. And, in the abstract, it's basically true. But how would that work in real life?

i never said i didnt want to share the gospel, only that we arent obligated to do so.
Okay.

How then do you view this parable?

Matthew 25

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Or how about this one?

Matthew 13
King James Version

1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
