Yes they do include those books! And to my knowledge the only other book to mention these same 70 Private Books written by Ezra is the Gospel of Nicodemus. In that book Annas and Caiaphas admit to Pilate that among the first of their seventy books the archangel Gabriel told Seth and Eve that God would not save Adam and his descendants until after 5,500 Years had passed; and they go further in saying that they realized Moses prophesied about Christ by adding up the cubits of the Ark of the Covenant whose sum was 5.5 Cubits which they immediately equated with the aforementioned prophecy (see Gospel of Nicodemus 22:1-14, Life of Adam and Eve 42:1-2 cf. 1 Adam and Eve 3 and Exodus 37:1).

So while I don't know the complete list of the 70 Private Books, the Life of Adam and Eve, 1 & 2 Adam and Eve, 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher are definitely among them.
Jubilees is a false book which has some truths in it, but was written by a Judaizing Priest who wrote it to make the Law the “Be all, end all”.
Jubilees does NOT correlate with Torah, at all!
The history book called The “Book of the Upright” totally correlates with Torah.

You're not supposed to use that word here, nor are you permitted to teach against Torah or denigrate Torah here. You didn't read the SOP for this section of the forums, did you?

You are falsely accusing me!
I did NOT and DO not speak against Torah!
Jubilees is NOT Torah!
The Law was given to Israel at Sinai to keep as living oracles about the Person and Work of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, until all is fulfilled.
Jubilees does NOT correlate with Torah.
its purpose is to blind the eyes to the purpose of the living Oracles.

Enoch was never lost but only to those Jews of first century who decided to make a list of books they “received”, excluding Enoch, because the Son Of Man in Enoch is God the Word, whom they rejected.
Then, the Roman Church followed them -the ones who denied Christ, and cast out Enoch.

Enoch was written for all nations, for all the descendants of Noah, and in the Dead Sea Scrolls, Abraham passed it to the Egyptians, as he wrote in his own records.
The Jews who left Israel for Ethiopia before the temple was burned took their books with them, among which was Enoch. When the Gospel came to those Jews in the first century they did not cast away Enoch, and they kept it intact for all the two millennia and in their sacred books/Bible ever since.

Jubilees is a false book which has some truths in it, but was written by a Judaizing Priest who wrote it to make the Law the “Be all, end all”.

What does this all have to do with the chronology I posted in this thread? Sounds like you have some political agenda you're promoting or fanatic ideology.

You equated Jubilees with the inspired Scriptures. I read all the books you said you have, and I take note of what does NOT correlate with Scripture.
Enoch is inspired and nothing in it contradicts anything in the Law, the prophets, or the New Testament; in fact, it is the foundation laid for the books that come after and which have no need re-lay the foundations.
Jubilees totally contradicts the living oracles, the histories, Enoch, and the Book of Jasher, which is true history that correlates with the Torah and Enoch and the Prophets.
As promoting anything goes: nope!
I did respond to your thread because I am a student of biblical history, Enoch, the entire Word of the Old and New Testaments, and the DSS.I do not agree with your timeline, and there is much in the Word that shows it is off.
But as far as Jubilees, it is totally falsely written with an agenda, which is obvious to one who is thoroughly familiar with the Torah and the prophets.

Please, don't get uppity. These are the Messianic Judaism forums. "Judaize" and "Judaizer" mean very specific things, and none of those things speak well of Torah, something that, again, is not permitted here, according to the SOP. It's also a buzzword that has historically been used in an antisemitic and insulting sense towards Jews.

You're not Messianic, so you're not permitted to teach or introduce dogma here. That is clear from the SOP from this section of the forums. Bucking against that won't change it. And being indignant won't help your situation. You have a huge swath of fora that you can talk about various christian dogmae in. This place, however, is where we discuss matters specific to our faith.

Since you do not know the particular meaning I applied I will explain: I used the term to mean exactly the opposite of a "christian" seeking to "gentilize" a Jew who is a born again Believer which Paul the Apostle specifically said not to do.
Paul said one who comes into Christ who is circumcized (keeping the Mosaic Law) does not become uncircumcized (cease keeping the mosaic Law) and one who comes into Christ not circumcized (a gentile) does not become circumcized.
To preach to a Jew to not keep Moses when they come into Christ is to try to "gentilize" them, and one who is a Jew already who reads Jubilees and follows it is being made to believe the Law is the "end all" and the way to heaven.
To believe the law is the "end all" is what Jubilees seeks to do, and is equally as in error as trying to gentilize a Jew who is born again, into the One Living Spirit.
The Jews are under Covenant oath from Sinai to keep Moses until every jot and tittle is fulfilled, precisely because the Law is living Oracles of the Person and Work of the Messiah come in flesh.
And, the only reason I posted here in the first place is the title is a subject I am well read in.

Well in order to stay on topic and make sure we have an orderly discussion, could you please clearly list the errors you found in my work and use scripture to counter them? My work makes it very clear that I took out much time and energy to lay everything out in a clear and orderly manner so that all may check my work and the sources they are derived from.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

"Do not judge and you will not be judged: for the standard you use to measure others will also be the same standard which will be used against you."

I don't think your math is wrong as to what you say your source is, and math us NOT my gift, but biblical history is my love!
I want my sources to correlate with Torah and the Book of Jasher does.
But, there are also Scriptures from Enoch, the Law and the prophets that are eye openers to the correlations that are true.
I mentioned the 4th millennial day one for the coming of The Messiah as the "Light of the world" correlating with the "body"/ the sun being made and set in the heavens on day 4 of creation to govern the light by day.

There are several others, and one notable is Ezekiel 47:1-5: the cubits are millinnial days and after 4,000, The Word comes in flesh!
More tomorrow, esp from Enoch's dream vision of the ten weeks..Fascinating!

Okay...I'm sensing you've calmed down a bit but, you're still going off course here. You said that you haven't found anything wrong with my math and also admitted that math isn't your strong suit...I find that we cannot have an intelligent discussion because I have only used basic arithmetic (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and nothing beyond that. So if you can't even comprehend basic arithmetic then I am afraid of how you even arrived at the numbers you're about to espouse in your future comments...

If on the other hand you're saying that because you simply are not willing to carefully read through and check my work then we still cannot have an honest and open discussion because then you'll have shown that you don't wish to understand anyone beyond yourself. But if neither of those are applicable to you and you simply don't understand something then it would be helpful to everyone if you just asked for clarification.

I am questioning yours, as being correct. Using Bible, Torah, histories, the prophets.
Your own reason is to say??? What are you getting at, as far as the chronology of the creation from Adam to now?
And a tree is known by it’s fruit means exactly what, in your posting it to me, in relation to my own person and posts?

True... but as history has a way of buring evidence, one of the spoils to the victor, we "lose" a lot.... to this I placed Enoch in the Lost Book catagory in this thread.

Well you came in here guns blazing with your claims so, where are the fruits of your labor? As someone who claims to be a top disciple of Christ I would think you knew what I meant by using that proverb against you?

I've made a large claim with my chronology and listed my intent in my OP and, my work speaks for itself:

"Wisdom is justified by her children."

I made no such claims.
in fact, I gave reasons, with Scripture, why I do not believe your source.
But wisdom indeed is justified by her children.
I have posted here for many years, and I have been able to do it because I am a great granny who raised 7 children, all who are a good bit older than you are, and I have 20 grandchildren, about 14 great grandchildren, and since we live far from most of them, I have time to give to the books I so love.

I have been a born again believer in Jesus Christ for 52 years, and have been a lover of The Word and true biblical world history from the beginning of my walk with Him.
Through the years of posting here I've enjoyed my studies, for posts, and myself is the chief beneficiary of that.
Anyway, Though I personally do not like numbers, I have a calculater when needed, and am delighted anyway, that the chronology of the patriarchs is laid out exactly, from the beginning, in the "Real Book of Jasher", and it correlates with world history, and all the little oracles in the Law and the prophets also agree about the timeline of Messiah's first coming, in the beginning of the 4th millennial "day".

Hmmmm....how can I say this...? Seeing that you are a woman of years and have more than enough life experience, I would have expected more from you in terms of proper dialogue and clear reasoning. In other words while you have made many claims and stated your disagreements my with my work you have yet to clearly account for the time for the 4,000 Years from Adam you claim that Christ was to come in the flesh.

That being said I am very disappointed but, I am still waiting on you to show your own work on a separate thread which I will gladly take the time out to read. My own work should be a clear example of the thoroughness I put into making sure everything was accurate and properly accounted for as I wanted to leave nothing to chance.

In closing, if you have multiple witnesses from Scripture to clearly back up your claims then please make a separate thread about it and I'll be sure to carefully go through it. I did not resort to long winded rhetoric or fabricate any of my numbers so I'd expect the same from you and anyone else who wants to counter what I've put forth.

³ Cainan is only found in the list of the Septuagint/LXX.

(CLV) Gn 10:22
Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.

(CLV) Gn 10:23
Aram's sons: Uz, Hul, Gether and Mash.

(CLV) Gn 10:24
Arphaxad begot Cainan, Cainan begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

Genesis 10:22-24
King James Version

22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

Same in NIV, NLT, ESV, NASB, AMPLIFIED, COMPLETE JEWISH BIBLE, OTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE, JESUIT BIBLE, WYCLIFFE BIBLE, CATHOLIC BIBLE.

Luke 3:35-36
King James Version

35 Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,

36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad
, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,

Did Luke get it wrong?

Brenton's Septuagint Translation

22Sons of Sem, Elam, and Assur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Cainan. 23And sons of Aram, Uz, and Ul, and Gater, and Mosoch. 24And Arphaxad begot Cainan, and Cainan begot Sala. And Sala begot Heber.

Genesis 10 Brenton's Septuagint Translation

JUBILEES 8
The Earth Divided Into Three Parts For Shem And Ham And Japheth
1 In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, [1373 A.M.] in the beginning thereof Arpachshad took to himself a wife and her name was Rasu'eja, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she bare him a son in the third year in this week, [1375 A.M.] and he called his name Kainam.

5 And in the thirtieth jubilee, [1429 A.M.] in the second week, in the first year thereof, he took to himself a wife, and her name was Melka, the daughter of Madai, the son of Japheth, and in the fourth year [1432 A.M.] he begat a son, and called his name Shelah; for he said: 'Truly I have been sent.'

So why would Cainan's name be blotted out of Geneisis?

Perhaps verses Jubilees 8:2-4 provide a clue:

2 And the son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city.
3 And he found a writing which former (generations) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and stars in all the signs of heaven.
4 And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it.

Have you worked out a chronology of when Genesis was changed?

It might provide a telling clue as to who did it.

With all her/his (Humble Penny's) calculations one still can't say if the current Jewish/Hebrew year 5781 is accurate, close to accurate or off by as much as 200 years (e.g. 5981). From all his/her due diligence what say HP ?

How close do you (HP) estimate we are to the actual Hebrew/Jewish year 6000?
If it's impossible to know even within 200 years what's the purpose of HP's calculations?
Romans 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God’s powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile.
17 For in it is revealed how God makes people righteous in His sight; and from beginning to end it is through trust — as the Tanakh puts it, “But the person who is righteous will live his life by trust.” (Habakkuk 2:4; Proverbs 3:5-6)

Great work and research HARK! Luke had his genealogy correct. What one will notice is that the Greek versions of the Bible retain Cainan in their genealogical records while many translations based on the Masoretic Text blindly go on excluding Cainan from Genesis 11 without realizing their error.

Why this was done to Cainan specifically I cannot say. As regards hiding the coming of The Messiah I am covering this in my new thread series in the Messianic Judaism forum Hiding the Messiah: Falsification of Genesis 5 & 11. In that series give a detailed analysis of the genealogical records and expose why and how the numbers were altered.

As to the earliest change of Genesis I would point you to the illuminating work of St. Epiphianus who wrote extensively of the early translations done after the seventy-two elders performed theirs. This can be found in Ephianus' Treatise on Weights and Measures where he tells of how Aquila and Symmachus purposely made false translations as a vindictive reply to the early brothers and sisters who rebuked them for their ungodly living.

Hello I am a brother lol! My username is to reflect the lowliness of the penny and not a name for a female ha ha ha. That said I have found it quite frustrating to establish exactly what year we are truly in, especially because the Dark/Middle Ages is a very foggy period to sort through and it is very difficult to discern which chronologoes and records of kings are true.

What I can say is that based on the dryness of the Euphrates River and, the increase in talk and plans for the building of the Third Temple, and the search for the perfect Red Heifer...we are very close to the Second Coming of Christ. We will know that we are in the final 7 Years once the Third Temple has been fully constructed and the sacrifces and offerings associated with it begin.

The closest I have been able to get in my first formal attempt is 5,916 Years from Adam and, this is based on the work of Sulpitius Severus who wrote Sacred History. His work generally agrees with what I have found in the chronologies of Eusebius, Eutychius of Alexandria, and St. Epiphianus. Other than that I haven't yet come across any other work, outside of the tradition of mainstream historians, covering the time past Constantine the Great. That said I'm still praying for wisdom and insight on this from the Holy Spirit.

As for the purpose of my calculations they are primarily to prove three things:

1) The validity of the 7,000 Year time-line of Gensis 1:1-2:3.

2) The 5,500 Year prophecy of Christ as stated in post #1 on page 1 of this thread.

3) Expose the falsehood in the genealogical records of the Masoretic Text and other similar biblical translations which stray from the LXX.

I can narrow it down much closer than that.

Most scholars date the composition of the combined work to around 80–90 AD,

Antiquities of the Jews (Latin: Antiquitates Iudaicae; Greek: Ἰουδαϊκὴ ἀρχαιολογία, Ioudaikē archaiologia) is a 20-volume historiographical work, written in Greek, by the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus in the 13th year of the reign of Roman emperor Flavius Domitian which was around AD 93 or 94.[1]

Page 32: "Sala was the son of Arphaxad."

Can you think of an event which "allegedly" took place between the years 80 and 94, which might account for this change?
