A healing that has not lasted?

Drift is normal, but without guidelines for certain topics the drift always ends up the same and it becomes nearly impossible to have any other conversation. In this forum for example we shouldn't have to devolve into the "Gifts are/aren't for today" debate every single time, but without the rules that's exactly what happens. Same is true with many of the topic and/or denomination specific forums they just have different common and tiresome drifts.

Could it be that I'm being tested? I have the spiritual gift of faith, even if my foot were to fall off my faith would remain the same!
I am familiar with the book of Job. Could this be a test?

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Blessings in Christ Jesus! I know of a woman who gave me a testimony that might help you. She was a woman of great faith. Long ago she had a skin disease that covered most of her body. She continually prayed to The Lord for healing. One day, when she least expected it, The presence of The Lord entered her house and she was healed head to toe. She rejoiced at the mercy of The Lord. A week later her sores started to return. She immediatly spoke out loud, " No I do not except this, The Lord has healed me, Thank you Lord." From that day forward her skin healed even to this day. For those that truly are His, the enemy always walks behind us looking to see what he might steal. Let him not steal from you. There is power in the tongue, one way or the other. Let Him show you this lesson and speak. Have a Blessed day!

Wow. Did you know this woman personally? Is she from your local church?

Yes, I knew her personally. I worked with her, but before I did, she prayed that The Lord would send her a Christian to work with. So out of no where I was transfered to her department. I remember a time at work that my heart was beating 160 to 180 from Afib, and I thought I was going to pass out and have to leave early, but her prayer and laying her hands on me brought my heart back to normal. I was able to finish out the day because of The Lord's mercy and her faith.

Hmmm. It is too hard to tell what the reason would be. But I would say "continue to stand in faith for your complete healing". If ever I have a sickness or pain, I stand on God's word that I will be healed. As an example, I was sitting down, and I experienced the most horrendous back pain, I honestly thought I could not stand up or walk. But I refused to let it remain in my body, I prayed to God standing on his word that it would leave immediately, the pain stopped as soon as I stood in faith. I am also often attacked with heart pain, I do the same thing, stating I will not believe the natural symptom, but God's word that I will not have a heart attack. I believe God will keep me well. All that said, I still do believe in using the services of doctors, if God does not heal an area.
