Prayer: Unintelligible ‘Worthlessness’

Don’t deny, it occurs everywhere and at anytime a derogatory spirit steps forward to lash out at the Holy Spirit gift of tongues. More specific, their insistence is that it is not being HS-motivated at all.

Allow me here, to further point out those whom have offered derogatory comment also can be found from behind the Pentecostal pulpit so as to warn their membership of “fake” tongues. Other non-AOG who express a top-priority on BOC unity of the Spirit have within their extensive website one occurrence of “nitwittery”.

None of these things move me except to repel them to the infinite extent. And why not? That is what I ask, , What exactly IS thought a worthless unintelligible tongue before God? All He said concerning authenticity was, “don’t forbid” it.

Without the Spirit, it is all worthless. With the Spirit, it is all communed with the Father in heaven.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and-smoking flax shall he not quench (Matthew 12:20). Though what more feeble than a cracked reed or a wick just flickering? Yet he reckons neither as useless; he allows for possibilities of improvement. Hallelujah!! God has swung-wide this gift till Christ comes again. From the first day in that upper room to as far away as us,

This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God.” (Acts 2:39).

For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them. (Hebrews 8:11).

While we receive from Him gift specific saying, not all will speak in tongues never was to be interpreted it isn't part of knowing Him.
