It suddenly occurred to me that one word was an anagram of new door!

Haha I was thinking taking one word to make new door, but didn't think of it other way around. It hit me harder it was literally saying use new door to make one word. Haha. That is funny.

Years ago, when I used to go to parties, my friends used to introduce riddles for us to solve. They were were sometimes good fun but at other times incredibly frustrating because no-one could work out the answers! And even more annoying when the solution should have been so obvious!

Here is a thread for you to post riddles for us to solve. They can be long ones or short ones. Here's one I have found to get started.

What is in seasons, seconds, centuries and minutes but not in decades, years or days?

You'll definitely need a pencil and paper for this one!

There are five houses in a row, numbered from left to right, each of a different colour and inhabited by people of different nationalities, with different pets, favourite drinks and occupations.

• The English person lives in the red house
• The Spaniard owns the dog
• Coffee is drunk in the green house
• The Ukrainian drinks tea
• The green house is immediately to the right of the ivory house
• The Carpenter owns snails
• The Teacher lives in the yellow house
• Milk is drunk in house #3
• The Norwegian lives in house #1
• The Gardener lives in the house next to the man with the fox
• The Teacher lives next to the house where the horse is kept
• The Doctor drinks orange juice
• The Baker is Japanese
• The Norwegian lives next to the blue house

Who owns the zebra?

Is it the Norwegian?
