Garden of Praise

I found a lovely quote by Rudyard Kipling,

God gave all men all earth to love,
But since our hearts are small
Ordained for each, one spot should prove
Beloved over all.

I thank you dear Lord for the beautiful tulips in the Garden of Praise. So red and so lovely,

I love you Lord and I lift my voice to worship you.

I praise the Father for all the sparrows and birds that are filling the trees and visiting our garden. So wonderful to see, thank you Lord.

All that is within me, by God, I will praise You Lord!

I have been praying for insights from my garden that will help me to grow into a beautiful garden, tending to my soul.
I have found a book on my book shelves called 'Seasons in my Garden' meditations from a Hermitage. Elizabeth Wagner.
I feel excited about this book

I haven't read very far in my Garden book.
but ... my Garden is full of colour and the birds are enjoying coming down to have baths in the bird bath.
A real Garden of Praise for Spring flowers and the trees full of blossom.
Dear Father thank you for the wonders of your creation.

Picking out weeds from the garden, and all the roots must be removed from the soil or the weeds will just grow back.
Now I have a revelation, there is a lesson to be learnt here. I can see an array of beautiful plants and flowers, trees coming into bud, and all the while the weeds are also growing.

My Garden of Praise is full of colour and the birds are enjoying the Hawthorne tree. Lots of heavy showers and sun today.

Surely, we who offer-up know that which the Lord has brought marked improvements about?! Back when I was carnally involved with thoughts devoid of thanksgiving, I was assured with a mindset, 'This is what I was made for', rather than being captivated by one of those heavenly encounters upon arriving home after the workday yesterday, opening the truck door to beautiful grass with the wife right there to greet and 100% perfect weather.

Was such that which also the Lord himself retreated to the hills for refreshment to be with the Father? Today, the hills and our closet are becoming encumbered by the culture of drones and techs.
