The folks in the most difficult position are those who have hesitated to be vaccinated or have no vaccinated their children.

Starting today, those who are unvaccinated are at risk from other that are unvaccinated. Those who among those who have hesitated will need to go back to a previous way of acting. They will need to treat everyone as if they are a threat, because so many are a threat.

For the vaccinated, this is Independence Day. We can no longer look at those without masks as those risking others. After all, they might be vaccinated, and no risk to anyone. We must pray that that more and more are vaccinated.

===========
Make no mistake, they will be major outbreaks in areas where many are unvaccinated, especially as new variants arrive from India and elsewhere. Having a large church service of unvaccinated folk is almost as dangerous as it was a year ago, almost because we have better short-tern treatments. Weddings, church services, Trump rallies; all will be super spreaders again.

Everyone is taking their own risks, the vaccine companies take none, those vaccinated take a little and those unvaccinated take a little. The vaccine companies will be just fine, whether you live or die, and those vaccinated have just as much of a wait and see as those not vaccinated but those vaccinated dont have anything to fear from those who chose not to be vaccinated and those unvaccinated have chose their own risks as well.

Don't worry be happy

Since the vaccinations won't completely cover variants, it won't take much for variant cases to be passed around among the vaccinated. If one vaccinated person gets a variant that's not blocked by a vaccine, what would prevent that variant from being passed to other vaccinated people?
I hope this doesn't happen though. It's possible that the virus will simply run its course and die out.

Now that biden has given us permission to take off our masks, let's see what happens over the next couple weeks.

There are 9 major league players/coaches who were vaccinated but during regular testing were found to be positive and asymptomatic.

Apparently they caught a variant and the vaccine only prevented symptoms. When passed on to the unvaccinated that variant could rage.

Most of us aren't sports figures getting routine testing. If we remove our masks and are positive and asymptomatic we could infect the unvaccinated as well.

And even though we would be angry at their carelessness and would rationalize that it was their own fault, we might feel a tiny bit of guilt amidst that anger.

And because we are responsible we go the extra mile.

I bet that most of the unmasked people I meet are unvaccinated as well.

I've been vaccinated. And I still were a mask when I go into enclosed pubic spaces. I plan on that being the situation for the rest of this year and probably half way into next year. Wearing a mask is just simply the thing to do these days. Eventually the attitude will probably become "why are you still wearing a mask?".

But until then, if nothing else, wearing a mask is just an accessory, like wearing a hat or a tie or a scarf etc. And one can always wear a scarf or a bandana as an accessory and use it as a mask. I really don't see why it's an issue.

There used to be a time when everyone wore hats

You was right the first time.
It might be tonight or fifty years (or more) but we are all going to die.

Well, if I was dead, I wouldn't be having to deal with a current crop of undesirable situations...

The vaccinated will get back to living our normal lives and the unvaccinated may as well, with increased risks. A 67 year old acquaintance of our just died this week from Covid this week....he had no desire to be vaccinated despite his age and other risk factors. He chose to take the risk.

Covid vaccines doesn't target variants fam it can entail a factor for symptoms but if you already caught covid before you can still catch it after vaccination is why mask wearing is still a thing biden said to do in crowded areas for the vaccinated

Personally I don't see why getting a vaccination and wearing a mask is an issue. They're both very simple things to do.
they aren't people dont trust the government or scientist its based on fear of the mark or just plain ignorance

We wore hats pretty regular until the advent of the “compact car”, then they got in the way and an industry died.
You can still buy a decent fedora but expect to pay $300-900.

Absolutely, I really dont have a desire to live that long in the flesh (especially the older I get) with all these new aches and pains (not to mention the older ones).

Makes me just want to throw off this mortal coil and fly to my eternal home.

So no, I don't fear death.

I was messing around "as if" I was afraid (of the enevitable).

Its the last enemy, so BRING IT ON!!:ebil:
