They killed less than 40 people in 2018-2019... in less than 10 attacks.

They aren't a real threat to anything. The left needs a white enemy to appeal to their demographics.

Mark, your comment was very insightful. I do believe that the political acceptance white supremacists perceived they had from 2017-2021 emboldened them and made them believe they could act more openly and aggressively.

Statements like those of a Congressman comparing them to tourists at the Capitol emboldens them more--because everyone knows that a certain percentage of the population will believe him, no matter how outlandish and presposterous the real facts prove it to be.

Compared to what?

Is gang activity on the rise? A movement to abolish gang databases makes it hard to tell -- GCN

There's around 2000 gang related homicides every year.

To be fair they also count "non-ideological killing". But the amount of killing by right wing extremists is troubling. Even if it's not ideological it seems to come more naturally to them in general (?)

That's why I like the chart. It contains both ideological and non-ideological murder...which makes the right wing extremists look like murder junkies compared to the others. But I'm sure, if you try REAL hard and channel all that special "energy" you can make it somehow not a problem for the right wing extremists.
