At least the Governor is allowing businesses and customers decide for themselves rather than take that right away. If businesses want to open up, they should be able to, and then the public can decide for themselves which ones they want to frequent. Those who are vaccinated may feel more confident to mingle with other people, and can now do so.

Guess what if it's never licked it will be people like this church and those that fight masks and lockdowns that are the cause. That and the antivaxxers. To have a chance of controlling covid you need to prevent it from mutating so much it's more dangerous or vaccines are useless.

2 weeks to flatten the curve. That's all they ask.
1 year of lockdown and destroy the economy. That's all they mandate.
Risk dying from a vaccination like so many have and is covered up by our "honest and trustworthy" government who refers to any opposing view as a "lie". That's what they now demand.

Gee you know, almost as half the population ignored the rules to flatten the curve so the 2 week lockdown was impossible. You can't whine about rules being extended when you break and ignore the rules. YOU ARE THE REASON THERE IS STILL A LOCK DOWN. You want to blame someone blame those like yourself.

Why does the thread title claim that this guy “escaped communist tyranny?” He was born in Poland in 1970 and moved to Greece as a teenager. Poland in the 70’s and 80’s may not have been a picnic, but it wasn’t tyrannical.

Those first 2 weeks are when everyone cooperated. Businesses closed, so people had no choice but to stay home. And if you remember, it was also the time when we were told NOT to wear masks. So blaming me for this dragging out for more than a year is misplaced.

Perhaps it should have read, "Escaped into communist tyranny". He probably didn't get arrested and jailed for attending church in Poland. But in Canada, America's closest neighbor....
