Contrary to what Premil teaches: Revelation 20 does not locate Jesus on earth!

First of all, I never said more of the same. My opinion is that you gave an opinion. Until you give something else than, "No, not really", I have no other opinion, than you have an opinion.

The Premil millennium is saturated with sin and sinners, crying and dying, Satan and his demons, in stark contrast to the biblical account of a new perfect earth.

Jesus said "I go to prepare a place for you".

I doubt if that PLACE was in Des Moines or Milwaulkee - I figure the place was in Heaven.

In fact, we are already seated in heavenly places

Where did all the ideas come from that our place is going to be ON EARTH?

Eph 2:4

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Eph 2:5

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved

Eph 2:6

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Zec 14:4

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

This avelanche - this split mountain - it doesn't say this is a place Christ went to prepare for us to live - in fact that would be pretty bleak to live in the rubble of a mountain that had split in two.

There is metaphorical language of a BLENDING of earthly and celestial - New Jerusalem COMES DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN, etc. etc.

Incidentally, the 1000 year reign is only mentioned in Revelation in the Bible - other apocalyptic literature proposes a 400 year reign - which strikes me as a warning not to be too literal with these numbers.

Is 144,000 a literal number?

I heard that David Koresh once went to Israel to see if 144,00 people would fit in a certain space...

I have to agree with you.
