In Britain, we have the Half Priced Sofa Sale! It usually takes place the day after Christmas. And what a festivity it is!
It is customary for people to glue themselves to their TV sets watching back to back adverts telling us how we can fulfil our dreams of becoming a couch potato.
It usually ends after a few days, when the effects of the mulled wine have worn off and we have returned to our senses!

After Easter prices?! Oh sure, now you tell me.
