Thanks, I enjoyed the video.
Don't thank me.

Thank whoever made it.

Truth of the matter is though, I feel sorry for Mr Ham.

BUT, if the LORD to him to do it, then I applaud him for his obedience; and thank God for the park.

So, what you are saying is that a creationist can't also be a scientist? Wow.
Of course they can’t. Creationism is close minded, and starts with an answer, then looks for facts to support their conclusions. The exact opposite of science.
They can if they practice an extreme compartimentalisation. If they do their research in a field that has no link whatsoever with the "evo-creo" debate (evolution, age of the earth, etc.). James Tour comes to mind: a very gifted chemist who also provides anti evolution lectures. Once he is behind a lectern he forgets all scientific methodology that he applies in his research in chemistry.
Extreme compartimentalisation.

Anyone who can do the lab work and understand the experiments can be a scientist. What you believe about creation has nothing to do with it.

And the same can be said about any secular scientists. They start with the exception that the model of evolution is true, and go from there.
Wrong. The Theory of Evolution is not an exception. It's one of the cornerstones of modern biology.

I didn't claimed there were. They went there for entertainment and found reason for both laughter and tears.
Post 612 please; you even gave it a check mark.

Two things. In post 612 I was agreeing that Ham is huckster. In response to your post I did not claim that the Paleontologists were fleeced.

I don't think for one minute you guys think the paleontologists were fleeced.

I think the point that he made was that the Christians were fleeced, atheists were not.

In other words, a double standard.

The point I'm making, is that if I'm going to believe Ken Ham is fleecing people, then anyone who buys a ticket, be it Aron Ra or Kent Hovind, is being fleeced.

A huckster is anyone who sells something or serves biased interests, using pushy or showy tactics. Historically,
the term meant any type of vendor, but over time it has assumed pejorative connotations. Wikipedia

But of course Aron Ra may only go to the museum once just to observe and critique it, while susceptible Christians may come back year after year.

Just an observation with respect to the term "fleecing" @AV1611VET

We know who Ken Hams true audience is.

If that's the case ... and I don't think it is ... but if that's the case, then atheists are just as guilty. A huckster needs a buyer, so it takes two: a seller and a buyer.

It's like buying an ice cream cone from the Ding-a-Ling truck that comes down the street, then complaining the driver needs to stay out of your neighborhood.

To each his own.

If they come back year after year, they must be getting something for their money.

I agree, but at the same time Ham is providing a service for those who have a "biased interest."

Ham is giving people what they want or at least think they want. I looked up the cost, its $48 for adults which is about half the price of Disney so it does appear reasonable, but Ham is still a huckster.
