Has anyone, ever, anywhere suggested it would? Guns are the last thing one wants to bring into the mix, but they have their place. Being undermined from the get go with roofies nullifies their usefulness.

Not sure where you are going with this. Are you suggesting that women shouldn't shoot a rapist because they cannot confirm the person is going to rape them until they are penetrated where at that point it doesn't matter anymore because the deed has been done?

The point is, it makes no sense for every college girl to carry a gun all the time to defend themselves against the rapists stalking their campus, because they are far more likely to be ambushed by a "friend" during a party when drunk, or pressured into doing things they don't want to because of blackmail.

And if cars weren’t available people wouldn’t die in auto accidents and if water wasn’t available people wouldn’t drown. Murder has been around since the firstborn of Adam & Eve long before guns were ever even thought about. Removing a particular weapon of choice doesn’t remove murder at all.

Guns equally make protecting yourself and your loved ones easy by eliminating the size and strength factor. Anyone who thinks they’re going to remove guns from America is delusional. Even in England where guns are illegal police are constantly seizing hundreds of guns at a time being sold in the black market to criminals. By removing guns from the general population you only open up a market for them to be smuggled in by criminal organizations. So in the end you’ve still only disarmed the law abiding citizens. Drugs have been illegal for almost a century and yet millions of people still buy them everywhere everyday.
