In many cases the rights of voters have not been protected, audits of the swing states should help us to understand the full extent of wrongdoing and thus to take measures to secure future election integrity. The future of our Republic rests on free and fair elections. We know election officials failed us as well as state legislatures, both Republican and Democrat controlled state legislatures.

As a voter in Arizona, my rights to privacy were violated when the Ninja clowns took custody of my ballot with no oversight or security. Another poster joked the image of my ballot may show up in Wikileaks -- it's not that far fetched.

Ana the 1st - I'm not doing your work for you. Frankly, what these clowns are doing with my ballot is a joke. As far as I am concerned, when Maricopa County Elections released the ballots, they are no longer the official record of the 2020 election.
You don't own the ballot, the Arizona legislature has full authority to examine the election process. There is no valid reason to be afraid of an audit.

The detailed workings of election machines is public record?

That seems like a mistake.

So it's like when Democrats in Congress decide to "investigate" the possibility of reparations...

...they may get by the investigation phase into the legislation phase...and they might not?
The actual software code was required to be released in the Philippines. The process should be quite simple and transparent, you add 1 to a counter for each candidate. No division, multiplication, or subtraction--adding one does not need to be detailed or complicated.

The actual software code was required to be released in the Philippines.

Which actual software code? For which company and for what machines - the voting machines, tabulators or something else?

Which Philippine organisation (judicial, legislative, executive?) required the release and when did they require it?

Finally, what does this have to do with the Arizona voting audit? Maricopa County used Dominion Voting Systems machines and software, which don't appear to have been used in the Philippines since 2013 (and then in an ancillary role).

As a citizen, I have a right to privacy and integrity of my ballot. These ballots were turned over to a private company (whose owner has a history of promoting Trump conspiracy theories), without any state government oversight or security. Yes, the Arizona Senate has the authority to order the audit. They also are obligated to ensure our rights as citizens are protected. The court is actively reviewing that very question as I write this....

It's not a conspiracy to take away any of your rights. It's an audit. The election laws were broken and an audit is more than warranted. Once you submit your ballot it becomes the property of the government, and the government makes the information public by releasing a vote tally. What cannot be done is to release the names of the people you voted for without your permission. An audit is beneficial to us all, we spend millions of dollars on the vote process and ensuring integrity is essential. The vote is at the core of making our Republic work.

How would anyone know who a voter voted for? The signature envelope is separated from the ballot that is in a separate envelope or sleeve that doesn't contain any voter information. The ballot doesn't contain any voter information.

Except election laws were not broken, as over 60 court cases demonstrated. This audit is solely about destroying the integrity of an election because your side lost.

There is no question election laws were broken, those in government who should have acted did not. It's like Black Lives Matter blocking the freeway in my area, it's against the law but officials look the other way because they belong to the same political party. An audit is an audit, it's not destroying the integrity of the elections in ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER, never be afraid of the truth.

Only one of the Maricopa County Elections Board is a Democrat. The rest are Republican.

As is the Secretary of State in Georgia, and any number of other people just doing their jobs as elections officials.

Which election law in Arizona was broken?

No, particularly in Arizona, there is zero evidence that election laws were broken. Since Arizona has had a vote by mail system for years, they did not require any real or major changes to adjust to COVID.

You must vote republican, or else not vote obviously!

...yes, and according to Valleta, the republicans who won their races last November must be "afraid of the truth" as the only two races subject to this "forensic audit" are the Presidential and Senatorial race (won by the Democratic candidate).

We've been voting by mail for 30 years.....without any issue with strong support by Arizonans of all parties....

LOL Rules for the elections are to be approved by the legislatures. We will see, although there are over a hundred lawyers hired by the Democrats trying to stop the audit. Remember I recommended overhead cameras should be installed for observation of vote counts in the future, the audit is being shown live by overhead cameras! That is progress, anyone wishing to observe can do so by going to: Arizona Vote Audit Live Stream

What are you talking about? Arizona is one of the few states that didn't change election laws this year, because it's been a mail in vote state for a while.

Officials are not allowed to change the rules for an election, they are not supposed to accept ballots from people who have moved, they are supposed to properly verify signatures, standards set by law are to be obeyed, etc.
