Hello @Goodhuman, I'm not sure if this is what you are getting at, but the Apostle Paul tells us that God saves the wicked from their sins (well, those who truly want to be, that is).

Romans 4
5 To the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the wicked/ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Why do you ask?

--David

Mark 2
17 Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

We all start out sinners. Any righteousness comes from God. He, alone can do that work in us, can justify us. And He must, and we trust that He will, as we cooperate with Him in that work.
Apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.”

I mean not as christians or those who go to heaven. I mean in the evil side if the person prefer to be.

Evil has its roots in lies and unfaithful love such can never stand in the presence of the truth of God/love.

All sinners must be saved from their evil, that is what it means to be saved, evil dies and new life comes from on high and transforms the former evil person into a new creation.

1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Rom 11:22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

God saves the evil man when he repents and believes the gospel.

But once he is born again he no longer is evil because the old man has been crucified.

If he dare return to his old man’s former lifestyle he will be in grave danger of being lost forever being turned over to a reprobate mind.

No-unless they become broken, unless they humble themselves and turn to God and away from evil. Even then they’ll struggle against sin, but their preference cannot be towards evil, but towards good, towards God.

Christ came to save sinners, which is a fortunate thing for all of us.

But the only sinners who respond to His call ... are those that have given a heart prepared for the kingdom of God, ... which prominently features love, joy, peace, goodness, gentleness, meekness, faith, patience, and self-control.

The unrepentantly evil will never sign-on for this ...

Satan was in Heaven itself, but he wanted Heaven to be changed! Because of his nature of pride, he did not consider Heaven to be good enough for him. Plus, there have been times when Satan was in the presence of Jesus Himself, yet Satan did not appreciate such a time of being with Jesus. But he used that time for his evil.

And we know how those people called for Barabbas, instead of Jesus. Those included mothers and fathers, civil and religious people; but their deep evil nature made them able to want Jesus who is God's own Son to be crucified.

This is because of "the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience" (in Ephesians 2:2). An evil person is worked-in by Satan's own spirit; so they do and are capable of doing even more and worse, of Satan's things.

"But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Timothy 3:13)

So, only God is able to change a person out of that.

Paul believed that there was no good in him even after he was saved ...
And we ignore what he clearly says because we don't want to believe he means what he says. We Christians are amazingly similar to liars.

I have the same problem when I offer scripture. People refuse to believe it because their pastor refuses to believe it.

Possibly , this is know as the " blotting" of one's name in the book of life. These are people who sin unto death, in other words, those who reject Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Be blessed.

That is the only sin-unto-death, rejecting Christ.
All other sins can be forgiven.

That's a great scripture. (a personal favorite)
It really illustrates that salvation is not about us. It never was.
