The researchers created the synthetic by cell modeling the chemical reactions of evolved cells. If I remember correctly they first modeled the chemical reactions needed for a minimal cell then the reactions needed for reproduction. Put more simply, they duplicated natural processes in a lab.

All you do is push the question back a generation. Where did God come from? Oh, right, God is eternal. Except, you have no idea what God is or isn't. You just manage to make the argument move from scientific inquiry to religious inquiry where you can now point to the Bible and argue about what God is. Which you know can never be proven or even argued about since nobody can ever prove anything about God.

Evolution isn't random chance. Which you'd know if you spent five minutes learning what it is. But you don't want to. What you want to do is post things like this to try and score Jesus points. Look what you did. Aren't you proud.
