Trump was acquitted during impeachment for his inflammatory rhetoric in a political vote along party lines.

Waters was let off from censure in a political vote along party lines.

Both acted against their oaths of office. Both should have been held accountable. However, the reality is that each party protects its own, and neither stands upon any real principles.
