Grow in The Wisdom of God

Jesus is The Wisdom of God. He is the understanding and the knowledge that we needed to find God.

God sent us His Wisdom that we might receive the understanding and knowledge of the Most High.

Let's hear Jesus from the book of Proverbs and receive this Light and Truth of God.

Proverbs 1:2-5

Know Jesus. Then you will receive wise skills, godly discernment and sound instruction in wise dealing.

You will learn righteousness, justice, and integrity. You will gain prudence and increase in learning.

May the God of wisdom give you wisdom and bless you.

Receive Jesus. You will understand the proverbs, words of the wise and their riddles. He is the wisdom of God that you need as you go out like sheep among wolves. Then you would be shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves.

Proverbs 1:6, Matthew 10:16.

Proverbs 1:7 Fear God, Get Wisdom.

Fearing God saves us from caving into our own sinful nature and from our delusions, revealing the truth that sets us free. God-fearing people are more trustworthy, more likely to keep their word and treat others with kindness. Jesus warned us at every turn to fear God, not men. He spoke lovingly but frankly to all and didn't mince words when people needed to face their sin and repent. But He also demonstrated love beyond human understanding. He is the ultimate example of fear and perfect love working together.

I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. Ecclesiastes 3:14

My friends,

Listen to Jesus's teaching, the Wisdom of God, for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.

If the devil entice you, do not consent, hold back your foot from it's paths, for it only leads to destruction. (Proverbs 1)

Dear Father, may we have more of Jesus and please adorn us with Your graceful garland and pendants. Keep us from being tempted and deliver us from evil. Thank you. Amen.

When was the last time you heard from Jesus? Do you commune with Him every day? Is He a friend with whom you have conversations over a dinner table?

Jesus, the Wisdom of God, stands at the door and knocks.

Are you hearing? Welcome Him now and dine with Him.

In the beginning, God created all things through Jesus, the Wisdom of God. (Colossians 1:15-17, Proverbs 8:22-31, John 1:3).

Now, God is making all things new through Jesus, the Wisdom of God. (1 Corinthians 1) His resurrection is a prototype of this new creation.

Wisdom is much more difficult to handle than riches and fame. It's very hard when God gives you some wisdom and you can't talk about it but see people being misled. It's especially hard to not share it with people close to you because you will be misunderstood and cause more harm than good. Either way, you end up more lonelier.

Everything is happening for a reason (within the Church and outside). Don't let your peace be disturbed. Be careful what you believe and judge. Wisdom is being taken away to make way for things that are to come. It's gonna be very difficult to discern the truth unless you remain close to Christ and be very patient.

Ask and receive. Daniel sought the Lord and God revealed the mystery and gave him wisdom.

God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams...And the king spoke with them, and among all of them none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore they stood before the king. And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom. Daniel 1:17-20

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
To whom belong wisdom and might.
He changes times and seasons;
He removes kings and sets up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to those who have understanding;
He reveals deep and hidden things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him.
To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king's matter.”
Daniel 2:21-23

So a man of great wisdom speaks in great parables. It is one of the traits and anointing of kingship. He doesn't let the devil steal and thieves get in but succinctly makes a way for His own to enter into the kingdom.

..But whoever restrains his lips is prudent. Proverbs 10:19

A prudent man conceals knowledge,.. Proverbs 12:23

He who is prudent will keep silent in such a time, for it is an evil time. Amos 5:13

Wisdom goes beyond knowledge. Knowledge without the fear of the Lord could be dangerous and useless, but knowledge produces wisdom when it is mixed with the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord comes from accepting the word of God by faith and faith comes from hearing the word of God as revealed to us in Christ because only through Him the veil is removed.

As we grow in our understanding of the Lord, we learn how to cooperate with Him as He sustains and redeems the world.
