Nope!
The typical straw man argument creates the illusion of having completely refuted or defeated an opponent's proposition through the covert replacement of it with a different proposition (i.e., "stand up a straw man") and the subsequent refutation of that false argument ("knock down a straw man") instead of the opponent's proposition.

You're ignored moving forward.

Well then you missed it. Wasn't directed at you.

By all means, demonstrate how my post was a straw man.

Did you not try and justify your heterodoxy by trying to appeal to Jesus being "heterodox"? Your argument was, "My opinions are definitely heterodoxy. So was Christ's at the time.".

My response was that you are incorrect, Jesus was not heterodox.

And further, I criticized trying to say "Jesus was heterodox" in order to justify one's own heterodoxy.

In what way was that a straw man? Where did I misrepresent you?

If I indeed did make a straw man argument, then I should be called out, and be corrected. If I have misrepresented you, I did not do so maliciously; but neither do I see where I misrepresented you. As such, if I did, please point it out that I may be corrected and not do so again.

So the very day of the last supper is the same day that the Apostles always celebrated thereafter and broke bread on. That being the first day of the week.
I'm not aware of any scripture which says that the apostles always celebrated the last supper on the first day of the week. What do you have in mind?

The last supper was on the evening of the 13th of Nisan (actually the 14th). The year Yeshua was crucified it would have been on a Thursday night.

That might be a good thing since you do not know what you are talking about. I have proved from Jewish sources you don't know what you are talking about.
You falsely claim that the Sabbath always falls on the 29th and the 8th. That is impossible.
|Sabb[Sat] 29|Sun 1|Mon 2|Tue 3|Wed 4|Thu 5|Fri 6|Sabb[Sat] 7|
There is no way around it in the normal Jewish calendar the Sabbath cannot fall on on the 8th.
He must believe in the lunar sabbath...

So as we can see by the timeline I posted previously, there is no way that the Triumphal entry can be the 1st day of the week. Yet year after year, we see people celebrating Palm Sunday. It doesn't fit the timeline.
A blanket statement without any scriptural support.

So far I've only seen two posters talk about this "lunar sabbath" stuff. Which leads me to believe these were probably the same poster under different accounts. As I'm fairly confident that this is the opinion of a single individual who is just believing whatever they want to believe.

No, there are a bunch of them. Easily debunked...

Is this supposed to respond to my post which you quoted? If so, please explain it to me.
I was just agreeing with you and that what you explained was the lunar Sabbath, so that is what he must believe...

Have you found any outside of here on CF? I'm genuinely intrigued.

Oh yeah, there is a whole movement! Lots of videos on youtube. Don't be intrigued...it is silly, kind of similar to the sacred namers...

Absolutely ridiculous. But I am a curious fellow, and I am always curious where weird ideas originate. Turns out in this case it originated with a guy who aided and abedded two KKK members who did a drive-by shooting of a synagogue in 1990 and then while in federal prison claimed to have received a revelation from God. So uh. That was something I learned.

Huh, I never heard that one. However Nehemiah Gordon does reference the year 1990 as the recent resurgence:

"There are two major variations of the Lunar Sabbath theory I have encountered. The major difference is whether or not New Moon is a Sabbath, i.e. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 vs. 7, 14, 21, 28. To the best of my understanding, the original Lunar Sabbath theory formulated in the 1990s made New Moon a Sabbath based on the highly inaccurate “Jewish Encyclopedia”.
