I have yet to see a post from a Christian on this "Christian forum" where the person trusts God to protect them from ALL harm, just as He said He would if we put our trust in Him.

So why are Christians who do put their trust in Him still dying from the pandemic.

faith is more difficult than it seems

There's nothing difficult about it really, what is difficult is getting away from bad ideas.

we are accountable for our intentions & our views (beliefs)

of course I'm only aware of this

How can you be held accountable for your actions if you are predestined to make them?

If a person is destined to steal a car, then they are going to steal the car no matter what. They can not prevent it from happening because they have no control over it. And if they can't prevent it and have no control over it, how are they responsible for it?

I guess you have no control, but if you believe?

Do you think I wake up each day with the need to find something to justify my beliefs regarding the existence of God?
You tell me and what brought you to "Christian" Forums since you are an atheist?

Do you wear a seatbelt? If so, it would appear that you understand that while risk is a part of everyday life, we can take steps to mitigate that risk.
Sometimes. And what I said is still true. If you want to avoid all risk, stay at home, (preferably in a home far from anyone else), and don't go on the roads at all. Don't walk on uneven ground. And you can still break you leg walking down the hall and hit your head in your bath tub. Life is risk.

Why are you here if there are Christians whose
beliefs are not exactly like yours?

If you wish to avoid atheists there are forums
that won't let us in! It's safe there.

I was asking Kylie. In regards to your question, you need to keep in mind that there are genuine Christians and there are “nominal” Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers mixed together on various Christian forum sites.

I know who you asked.
But since you answered, you, ah, didn't actually
answer.
Why risk atheists when there are Christian forums?
It might answer your question to K.
Also-
Of course there's every sort of Christian imaginable.
The trick would be to find two who think the same.
Again, why do you risk hearing a different pov?

So why did you, in post 166, seem to suggest that the two options were to go out and take the risks without trying to mitigate them in any way, or stay at home in a bubble to protect ourselves?

Of course, if you are predestined to do things, then your intent is predestined as well. The car thief is predestined to intend to steal the car.

No, I don't.

And why shouldn't I come to CF?
I am not saying you should or shouldn’t but was just wondering why. Me personally, if I was an atheist, could not imagine myself being interested in a Christian Forum, unless I was seeking.

I suggested you ask yourself why you risk reading
atheist words or go where Christians with different views
post.
Do you seek to convert?

I seek to share the gospel with anyone who’s willing to hear it.
