The body of Christ, with Christ as the Head, and viewed specifically with the senses in mind, reveals the eyes, ears, nose and mouth containing the points of contact thru which the Head can be known. That’s not to say that individual members of the body are not important for carrying out the instructions issuing from the Head especially as the feet are used to crush satan. Especially from seeing and hearing is such made possible to accomplish that reasonable service in harmony with Him. Expressing the idea of holiness was given an external physical expression in the wholeness of the body seen as a perfect container holding within the essence, the underlying state or underlying substance of the Hypostasis of the Godhead.

So what about smell and taste and what about the tongue? In this time of masks covering the areas so powerful to detect the Essence, that treasure within each one, what are we missing in not being aware?

“Wake up and smell the Imago Dei.”

“The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.” – Genesis 8:21

“Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.” – John 11:39

Rather than an eyewitness account we have the nose witness added to the account.

Rü’·akh, spirit, in Hebrew means to smell or perceive odor ….. perhaps inaugurated at creation

“Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” – Genesis 2:7

…as long as my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils” – Job 27:3

“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” – John 3:8

And such is the smell, especially sweet smelling savour, carried on the wind to bring us to remembrance.

‘Of landscapes, as of people, one becomes more tolerant after one’s twentieth year…We learn to look at them not in the flat but in depth as things to be burrowed into. It is not merely a question of lines and colours but of smells, sounds and tastes as well: I often wonder if professional artists don’t lose by seeing it in eye sensation only’ [Lewis and Executors of C. S. Lewis, 1966, 234].”

Affected by the sense of smell is the sense of taste.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8

The smell of fresh-baked bread can make one’s mouth water, while a person who has a stuffy nose can’t smell a thing. That smell or lack thereof can affect one’s mood or attitude. For instance Marketeers sell fragrances that evoke feelings in others. Some odors are so strong or disgusting that they can make people sick to their stomach. Tastes also can have that effect. From these things we can learn to trust our senses.

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14

It is awesome and amazing to realize that God chooses to work through us, mere sinners saved by His grace, even though we live in earthen vessels 2 Corinthians 4:7, God does fill and uses these vessels as instruments for His service Romans 6:13. Our role entails keeping the vessels clean. 2 Timothy 2:21, 2 Corinthians 2:15, Ephesians 5:2 so when God sees us, He sees us “in His Son,” and, we are, to Him, “the fragrance of Christ”—a sweet smell of satisfaction.

God also sees “the fragrance of Christ” in our testimony to others, “among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” Just as certain smells can affect people, “the fragrance of Christ” can affect people in an even more powerful way. We are to manifest the “fragrance of His knowledge” to other people. The fragrance we manifest is the same to everyone, the knowledge of Christ and His finished work of redemption, but the response is not always the same.

“To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life.” 2 Corinthians 2:16

To those who hear the Word of God, believe it, trust in Christ as their Savior, the “fragrance of Christ” is truly a sweet smell, an aroma of life to them, and embracing it as such, it leads them to life eternal with great triumph in Christ.

In a world where there would be many unpleasant odour, something nice to smell would stand out.

Scripture is brutally practical.

How does your life, your odour stand out among those you live and work?

Do you smell of life or do you smell of death to those around you?

Put another way, how different are you. Are you know for total honesty and integrity?
Are you known as a Christian, someone who believes and seeks to obey Jesus, not just a Sunday church goer.

I must say that Cassia uses an interesting way to describe how all members of our body are somewhat symbolic in our responsibility to glorify our God. I agree we need to always consider how we walk and talk before the World as professing Christians and "children of God".
