Losing Hope

Romans 5:3-6

There are many people with problems, some unspoken, working in the nursing home field there are many people who are damaged in there with restrictions and can’t even have freedom to leave the facility. Be thankful, some don’t have families, some have families that are dying, everything may seem hopeless, but God is still there, and cares about of these worries and problems we are having, one day we are going to die, and be resurrected. There won’t be no more pain or sorrows they say.


2 Corinthians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

I was doing relatively well until my birthday week. But a few days before my birthday my right knee started having terrible pain and it has not been back to 100% since then. I am weary, so tired of the battles I face daily on every front. I am losing hope and don't have the energy to keep battling this illness.

Talk with your pastor, there are people who can pray with you and can take some of the burden off of you, reach out, ask for help.

This morning waking up and knowing the awful sick feeling that would envelope me getting out of bed and walking the few steps to switch on the overhead light. And the thought came --"Oh Lord you know the date of my death -- please don't extend it but let me die easy." And laughing at myself as the answer came: You are "heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him." (Romans 8). Jesus of Nazareth came through great torture and suffering and so shall we. And we shall meet in Heaven to praise and honor the Ancient of Days for no more tears -- no more death --no more sorrow -- no more crying -- etc. (Revelation 21)

What is your hope in?

How is it that Jesus is not enough to save you?

Strength to fight your illness. No you are right none of us have the strength to fight anything.
It is only through our trust in Jesus that we can have, moment by moment the ability to carry on.

It is the choice to trust Jesus, amid an overwhelming flood of doubt, pain, fear and worry that is the hardest fight of all.

No fairy is going to wave a wand and everything will be alright, but you can trust in Jesus to keep you untill he presents you to his Father.

thank you for posting here so that we can pray, please dont give up hope, hang in there. I pray for great strength from the Lord, and for His Presence to be with you in a Powerful way. you are loved very much

I studied nutrition in my spare time. Certain dietary changes healed people with inflammatory disease.

no offense but Transcendental Meditation is not a good thing for Christians to do, I wouldn't recommend this.
