So i posted a photo of a street light and transformers reflecting the light of the street light and also the moon.

So when the moon is compared to the two types of examples, the street light or the transformer reflecting the street light. The moon looks just like the street light and nothing like the transformer reflecting the street light.

Okay, now swivel the street light up so it's actually shining at the transformers instead of down at you, and make the transformers spherical. Or, you know, set up a similar situation with your own lamp and a suspended ball, which is a bit more convenient.

But I think your experiment does provide strong evidence that the Moon is not in the shape of a transformer, so good job on that.

Its quite simple really. The sun shines on the moon and illuminates half of the moon. As we look at it from different angles we see nearly all of the illuminated side in a full moon and nearly all of the dark side in a new moon. As the moon orbits the earth we see it from different angles, thats all. And as for the "craters emitting light" when the sun is shining across the moon like in the evening the light is spread out across the surface, where the lights hits the side of the crater more directly it appears brighter. You also need to factor in that the cameras used to photograph the moon are light sensitive and often on slow exposures so pick up even the dimmest light.

It has been said that if you take the temperature on a full moon of a spot on the ground where moonlight is shining [perhaps with a laser reader], it will be cooler than the shade of total darkness. Has anyone ever confirmed if this is true or not?

The moonlight is the reflection of the sun. I dont see there being any heat from it.

Thats fine, but the shade shouldn't be warmer than the light.
It’s called radiative cooling, if I recall correctly. You can look it up if you want the exact details, but basically objects radiate heat from the day at night, which can cause the area around them to be hotter at night.

Only according to how you interpret said scripture my friend.

So 2 lights is really 1 light and a rock?

And how does light illuminate dust anyway?

And why not equally bark at the sun?

Lol. I assume you believe the earth to be flat too?
