How do I know I am truly saved by God (Jesus Christ)?
Is it possible/probable I will be lost again?
How to be 100% guaranteed that I am saved without any chance of being lost again?
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” Romans 8:16 (KJV 1900)

“Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4:13 (KJV 1900)

This experience causes us to believe and it never ends.

Christ, who promised salvation to his disciples, also told them to trust him. The true believer does.

If you truly accepted The Messiah into your life then gradual changes in your behavior and how you see others will be happening that will become more visible in time.

Hello @LayHong_Loves_Christ ,

You ask some interesting questions.

How do I know I am truly saved by God (Jesus Christ)?

Romans 10:9 8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

According to this scripture someone whom is saved: That word is near you (maybe your mind), it is your mouth ( you will speak it), and in your heart (you will believe - based on your God given faith in knowledge of the truth of the Gospel of Christ), the word of faith which is proclaimed with-in you by the spirit and by you through your belief on the Lord Jesus Christ.

By believing and confessing with the mouth Jesus is Lord, and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.

For in your it is with your heart you believe and because of this you are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

Saved to what? The kingdom of Gods Son.

Colossians 1: 13 He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Also : Just desired to make one more edit there is hope in these things:

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.

Is it possible/probable I will be lost again?

It is 100% possible to walk away and give up on God now today in this modern age. However some are just given a weak faith based on things they have heard through out life, there are different types of measures of faith as well.

Mark 4:19 but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

How to be 100% guaranteed that I am saved without any chance of being lost again?

Continue in your seeking for God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and strengthen your faith by reading and hearing the word of God.

Thank you for your questions, LayHong.

May the grace, peace, and love of God and from the Lord Jesus Christ along with the fellowship of the holy spirit be with everyone, and your families.

Live a life of doing good, not evil, and don't back slide.

From what I gather, It ain't over till its over, and until then, after the acceptance of Christ, it's all up to us.

John 5:28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned."

How to be 100% guaranteed that I am saved without any chance of being lost again?

Luke 22:20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood.
(MY NOTE: Jesus sin atoning payment began a new covenant replacing the old. Christ's resurrection is proof God accepted Christ's sin payment)

Heb 7:
11 Now if perfection [a perfect fellowship between God and the worshiper] had been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people were given the Law) what further need was there for another and different kind of priest to arise, one in the manner of Melchizedek, rather than one appointed to the order of Aaron?
(MY NOTE: Jesus retired the Mosaic covenant, see Matt 27:51)

12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is of necessity a change of the law as well.

17 For it is attested [by God] of Him, “You (Christ) are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

21 (for those Levites who formerly became priests [received their office] without [its being confirmed by the taking of] an oath, but this One [was designated] with an oath through the One who said to Him, “The Lord has sworn And will not change His mind or regret it, ‘You (Christ) are a Priest forever’”).
(MY NOTE: The Levitical priesthood RETIRED/REPLACED/NOW OBSOLETE)

22 And so [because of the oath’s greater strength and force] Jesus has become the certain guarantee of a better covenant [a more excellent and more advantageous agreement; one that will never be replaced or annulled].
(MY NOTE: Jesus is NOW! High Priest (mediator between God & man) forever! He administers a New Better sin administration & a Better law covenant. (Reread vs 12 above)

Heb 8:6 - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
(MY NOTE: Jesus has ALREAD obtained & NOW mediates a New BETTER covenant (then Mosaic) Jesus Melchizedek Priesthood covenant is established upon BETTER promises.)

I believe it's time to place the Mosaic covenant on the ash pile of history where Jesus death & resurrection retired it to:

Matt 27:51 And [at once] the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart.
(MY NOTE: Jesus death tears Temple veil (this veil separated Holy God's presents from sinful man) is torn in 1/2. Next, the New ETERNAL Melchizedek Priesthood covenant begins in resurrection power 3 days later. It's 1st implementation is seen here:

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled [that is, diffused throughout their being] with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (different languages), as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out [clearly and appropriately].

The Holy Spirit of God indwelt believers = New Melchizedek Priesthood Covenant. God's presents no longer dwells (nor ever again will) in a Tabernacle or Temple (Mosaic covenant) inner sanctuary/Holy of Holies, made with human hands.)

Every REDEEMED believers is NOW a Temple where a Holy God's Spirit forever indwells. Once indwelt/baptized with Christ's Holy Spirit. The believers eternal fate is securely SEALED (Eph 4:30, 2 Cor 1:22, 5:5, 2 Tim 1:14, Jn 10:28-29, Rom 8:35-39)

How do I know I am truly saved by God (Jesus Christ)?
God knows. So, right now let's trust God to do with us what He pleases, according to what He knows.
Is it possible/probable I will be lost again?
If God has committed Himself to keep us, He will. So, right now . . . simply trust Him to do this.

And love people, have hope for people > love "hopes all things" (1 Corinthians 13). Do not trust and listen to what failure and doubt tell you, but submit to God and discover all He does with us. When we fail to do this, trust God to correct us. While we love in sharing with God, we have assurance . . . that we are with God :)

So, do not trust and go along with how your attention can go elsewhere, but depend on God to get you with Him in His peace and how He has us loving.

This does not come with copy-cat church on schedule, but all the time we need to submit to God in His peace > Colossians 3:15 > in sharing with others who help us with this > "in one body" > because salvation is in God's family, not on lone effort and self-congratulation.
How to be 100% guaranteed that I am saved without any chance of being lost again?
Part of being sure is how we discover God truly and deeply correcting our character to become like Jesus > Hebrews 12:4-14, with 1 John 4:17 > this is a basic of our salvation predestined > Romans 8:29.

So, we do not depend only on knowing, but on how God proves Himself in us, conforming us to the image of Jesus > Romans 8:29.

We don't know by say-so, then, but we discover how God proves Himself in us. Read His word, feed on how God does His word in us and our lives > His word is guaranteed to do all He means by His word in us >

"'So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
. It shall not return to Me void,
. But it shall accomplish what I please,
. And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.'"
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..
(Isaiah 55:11)

God will do what > He < means by His word ! ! !

So, if we have not been with God in His word, and in family sharing with His obedient people . . . this is why we are not sure. And, of course, there are ones who have not even gotten started with Jesus; so of course they are not going to be sure.

Part of our Biblical assurance is how our Father succeeds in correcting us > Hebrews 12:4-14.

And Hebrews 12:4-14 says we need to actively seek our Father to truly correct us, like this > verse 8. So, do not only wonder and hope for some say-so to make you feel good, but actively seek God to truly change us the way He desires . . . including so we become pleasing to Him in His gentle and quiet love >

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

And do this in sharing with others who help us to do this, with God. Do not let yourself get isolated in worrying only about your own self; because in God's love we are all-loving, caring about any and all others as ourselves.

And keep your forgiving up to date!

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

Trust Jesus to do this with us.

In this case Hebrews 6 teaches that the best defense is a strong offense. If you're looking for a static "I can do anything I want and not put my salvation at risk" guarantee, it doesn't exist. But God is faithful and will honor the desires of your heart.

If that were possible, then it would be impossible for you to be saved again according to Hebrews 6. I think, instead, Hebrews 6 is showing why this very question is already put to rest and you should move on ;)

I have my weaknesses in moral, will God sentence me to death for not meeting his Law's requirements?
Will God blame me for taking advantage of Jesus?
Read the New Testament. Jesus paid for your sins on the cross if he gave you faith to believe in him.
