Jesus and Mary are both Jews.
And Joseph!

And the apostles. Well, one of them may not have made it to heaven. But the rest of that totally Jewish lot did.

I say yes because the Bible says they are the chosen people.

Please enlighten me.

It doesn't matter if one is Jewish or Gentile, in Christ there is no distinction--and all in Christ have hope in the life of the Age to Come, according to God's own word and promise to us, and what He Himself has done for us.

That does not mean that non-believing Jews are damned, no more than non-believing Gentiles are damned.

But being Jewish or being Gentile itself is irrelevant as far as salvation goes. What does matter is that all have sinned, both Jew and Gentile, and all are held in condemnation under the Law, which has reckoned all sinners. The Good News is that Christ came to save sinners, and that all having been consigned to disobedience in order that God might be merciful on all (Romans 11:32).

In the OT Jews faithful to God and the law went to heaven but since Christ and the cross, one must accept Jesus as Savior to go to heaven when you die.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you read Romans chapter 11 it explains everything in detail. Really cannot get any more specific than what Paul laid out.

They were chosen to bring in the Messiah Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He did not establish a dual Covenant. So unless an unbelieving Jew comes to know their Messiah, they will most certainly suffer the second death, separation from God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Be blessed.
