People being doing the right thing because of religious motivations not in line with your own? The horror!
Once upon a time, one of our local congregations was host to the local chapter of a non-denominational charity that created baby blankets and assembled gift baskets for parents of premature infants.
The chapter had to shut down for lack of community involvement.
The members of the area congregations only had so much time they could devote to the charity, and entirely too many people who weren't members of the faith refused to participate simply *because* we were the ones hosting it.
That pettiness has always stuck with me.
The community *does* come out when we hold blood drives with the Red Cross, but still...
