This is essentially the biggest health crisis the West has faced in a century. Governments collectively threw blank cheques at the pharmaceutical industry and universities to find a solution, which they did, in a time where technology makes everything quicker.

There's nothing to doubt. It's proven to work and be effective in 1) reducing the risk of infection, 2) reducing the spread of infection and 3) reducing the severity of infection and dramatically reducing the risk of hospitalisation and/or death.

You talk about facts but you're clearly overlooking the only data that matters that's right in front of you and the world.
Ok . Let's go there. Covid-19 is a mutation of the SARS Coronavirus. Correct? The SARS Coronavirus was patented in the US in 2003 under patent # US-2006257852-A1

The vaccine for that virus was developed in Europe under patent number # EP20040021065,

We patent things we create. This coronavirus wouldn't even exist had it not been engineered. Those are facts. That is truth. Yes it is a crisis, but was totally avoidable and if you don't think there is a spiritual side to all of this, then I have nothing else to say. Good luck to you.

This is done to keep information and sequences of viruses in the public domain so that private companies can't hide the data or prevent or disrupt attempts to create vaccines or other treatments.
Edit: When I say 'this is done' I mean patenting virus sequences and information, not the creation of viruses.

Probably nobody. Fortunately you are increasingly likely to be surrounded by people who have been vaccinated and will benefit in the long run from the decline in disease gained by those people.

Just do not think that the precautions you do take are enough to overcome the pandemic.

Interesting that you got the Pfizer vaccine. It seems that most people in the UK got the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine. Are they offering both now?

And now it's been suspended from use there because it has been proven on humans to not be safe.

"It’s the last thing public health officials want to see in the midst of a pandemic: more than two months after pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca and Oxford University scientists released their COVID-19 vaccine, countries in Europe and elsewhere are pausing its use amid disconcerting reports that a small number of recipients have experienced blood clots, some of them fatal."
Why Countries Around the World Are Suspending Use of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 Vaccine

But this is what happens when a substance that people keep calling a "vaccine" is rushed into production and authorized for EMERGENCY USE, but is actually not a vaccine because it has never been approved by the FDA.

There may be other threads on this but, I haven't seen them. I thought it would interesting to know who has gotten a shot, which vaccine and their experience. I'll start. :)

I got the Moderna Vaccine about 3 weeks ago. I had a sore arm and felt a bit rundown for a day, but really no other side affects. (Not nearly as bad as the Shingles shot.) I will post again, after the second dose, which is supposed to have more side affects. The hardest part was trying to schedule the vaccine, it was quite the challenge!
Personally at this time I don't plan too. I am not convinced it is safe. Though I have seen some have it and had no issues. I have seen or heard of others who have had issues.

Don't think that some substance that hasn't been approved by the FDA that is loosely called " a vaccine" but it's long term effects are unknown is the answer to your prayers either. For all everyone knows in a year or so after Covid has lie dormant in the body it could manifest into some supershingles or something worse. No one knows. Once they know what it really does, the picture will be clearer. They already have said they have never seen a virus like this one before. Who knows what that monster will do in the long run. Keep telling yourself it's safe. I will pray for you.

Pfizer was the first approved and I work for the health service so we were top of the list.

It's largely a logistical factor. Because of the storage requirements for Pfizer, it's only really hospitals that have the capability given the extremely low temperature requirements. The Astrazeneca however can be stored in a regular refrigerator, so the vaccine hubs outside of hospitals are delivering that.
