I went to library & was looking at the Christian section & was thinking of checking something out, but I got concerned. How do I know it's not false teaching? Like, I know how to recognize it, but I don't want to check out a book that is false teaching. Like there's books out there that twist Jesus into being only a really good moral teacher, for example.

I'm sorry you're having a difficult time. Maybe you can start a few threads here instead.
Nah, I get enough of it. These days, I feel like it's shoved down your throat no matter where you turn. It's probably one of the reasons I've stuck around this section TBH.

Hmm, I guess it has been quiet around here lately. As for me I've been spending a lot less time on social media for my mental and emotional health. And I'm having so much fun playing with my Eevee and friends that I don't get a lot done! ^_^

Here's a drawing I made of her, by the way! :purpleheart:

Happy Easter morning, all.

Remember today that He is risen. Because of this, we too - while one day we will die and become dust - shall rise again from death, lest our faith be in vain. :amen:

They are putting my sister's dog down tomorrow morning.

He's 8, will be 9, in a week.

I remember when they got him. I was a sophomore in college. I heard about him. They said he likes to jump & run. I saw a picture of him. He was so tall & sitting, looking down at a cupcake. It was his first birthday.

I met him home from college. He was so big! He liked to run. He'd grab a stuffed animal from upstairs & bring it down to the kitchen. Then we'd have to put it on the shelf so he couldn't tear it.

One of his earlier Christmas's, I stayed home & watched him while everyone else went to church. (I got out of work real late). We played with his toys. Then I watched TV. I think he was bored during it.

He came to my house once. Dogs aren't allowed on property, so we decided it was best he wait in the car. He was probably sad b/c he was so excited!

He's a big brother to 2 cats & my nephew & niece.

I'd play ball w/ him. He's a ball hog, but that's okay, I like to pet him while he chews on the ball.

I actually haven't seen him in a year or so. W/ 2 kids, he stopped getting invited to events. I bet he liked the break tho!

I have so many pictures of him. His hair is cut different in each.

I am sad right now. He must've really deteriorated the past few months. He had leg surgery a year ago, but this is something different. He hasn't been himself.

I love dogs so much, but my heart's been hardened over the years. It feels like they don't live very long. My dog growing up was the same age my sister's dog. It's hard knowing at 4, when they're still very much a puppy, they only have a few years left. I think that's one of the reasons I don't have a cat.

I always feel restless before vacation.

And more introspective then normal. I feel like everything I do 'might be for the last time.' Although really there's no reason to think that anymore then usual.

I don't get 'excited' for vacations, it's more of an anxiety then anything.

I do get excited about coming back home tho.

I love going on vacations, it makes me feel blessed being able to see the world/country, go to tourist places, be w/ family, enjoy nice weather, get a break from work......But at the same time, I like returning home.

Is it bad of me to think I could totally see my mom remarrying if my dad passes first? She has the kind of personality where she loves caring for my dad/people in general & I can't picture her w/out someone guiding & helping her.

My mom & dad have a very mutual arrangement. They each get a benefit.
