I hear there's no such thing as bad publicity.

EyerGdFXAAcBBKj

Are lib political activists incapable of being funny? The idea of a billboard is funny, but the writing is just dumb. Did everybody involved in this billboard completely miss the fact that "Gaetz" rhymes with tons of stuff?

"True love waits. Not Matt Gaetz."
"50 first dates with Matt Gaetz"
"Aunt Flo late? Mighta been Gaetz."
"Jailbait Gaetz"

"Mate", "Rate", "Sate"... C'mon. There are tons of possibilities here.

The guy behind "Mad Dog PAC" does seem to have fallen several steps short of Voltaire or Swift. Then again, the message has to be understood by people who voted for Matt Gaetz.

Please tell me that's real.
It's not, unfortunately. The money that Gaetz sent to Greenberg supposedly had the notes "Test" and "Hit up [girl's nickname]" (the article did not give the name). HOWEVER, the money that Greenberg sent to the girls was marked as "Tuition" and "School" (minus the exaggerated wink).

Yeah I knew the "Tuition" and "School" thing was real, I was curious about the image.

There are creeps all over. Talking a good talk, speaking well, saying conservative, Christian things, being well-liked and famous, doesn’t exempt you from potentially falling into some horrible sin, and then lying about it.

Oh, look. Now he might have been involved in election fraud too...

Feds are investigating whether Matt Gaetz discussed running a sham candidate in a Florida Senate election to deprive a political rival of votes, report says

Federal prosecutors investigating Rep. Matt Gaetz over sex-trafficking allegations are also considering whether he talked about running a fake candidate in a Florida Senate election to skew the results, The New York Times reported on Thursday.

In November, the GOP candidate in the race, Jason Brodeur, an associate of Gaetz, beat the Democratic candidate, Patricia Sigman, to win a seat in the state Senate.

The Times reported that investigators had been told about a conversation in which Gaetz and Chris Dorworth, a prominent Florida lobbyist, discussed running a fake third candidate to siphon votes from Sigman and boost Brodeur's chance of winning.
I'll note for the gallery that this would be a second spoiler candidate run in Florida in 2020. I think there might even be a third if a story I saw earlier mentioned 2 spoiler candidates and names I hadn't heard before. I'll have to look for that article again.

EDIT: Yep, here it is:

Search warrant reveals ex-Florida senator had documents on two spoiler candidates

The 2020 election cycle drew three mysterious no-party candidates in contentious and expensive Senate races — Districts 37 and 39 in Miami-Dade and District 9 in Central Florida — all won by Republicans. The candidates did no independent campaigning, had little to no public profiles, and their candidacies were all bolstered by similarly designed political mail advertisements that were paid for by $550,000 in untraceable funds.

Alfonso would be the third spoiler candidate.

Okay, okay, Republicans. We admit it. You were right. You guys did commit election/voter fraud in the 2020 election. Sheesh.

And just like that...election fraud is a real thing again! :D

Yes, I noted that in my last edit:

Yes, I noted that in my last edit:
That's fine. I wasn't pinpointing the moment that election fraud became real again, but you know that for months now anybody who so much as suggested that there might have been something to the voting fraud seen on film, anything about the hundreds of sworn statements from witnesses to fraud last November, and so on, were met with "There was no fraud," "there is no evidence," "anyone who says otherwise is against democracy" and plenty more in that vein.

Now, it's all different because there's Matt Gaetz. A presidential election wasn't important enough, but...Matt Gaetz!!

Why do you keep posting this lie? No one has said there was "no" voter fraud. There certainly was and it seemingly is all perpetrated by Republicans. Still not enough to actually affect the outcome of the presidential election. What you and others are saying was voter fraud wasn't, however. It's deflection. You guys won't call out actual voter/election fraud by your own people, but want everyone to believe nefarious conspiracy theories about suitcases and what not. SQUIRREL!

It's just dumb.

Because it's not a lie? All those things were said and repeatedly so.

Okay, man, fine. There was voter fraud in the 2020 election. Republicans committed it. What now? I mean I don't see anything in these voting bills being passed in various states about spoiler candidates. Just, like, making illegal to give people standing in line to vote water and stuff.

It reminds me of flat earthers. When you admit that the earth isn't perfectly round and doesn't always have the same degree of curvature over the same distance, they act like that means you admitted it's flat.

It’s true though. Trump’s false claim that the election was stolen or rigged was an attempt to “poison democracy.” To get enough people to lose their faith in American elections so he could by chance overturn the results. He still has not proven a single instance of election fraud or rigging yet he has no problem continuing with the lie.
