Seek the kingdom of God ?! This has bewildered me for many years. So I seek and believe that I will find ; that I may understand, perceive, turn and the Lord heals.

The Lord have spoken:
For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. -Luke 12:30

Instead, seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. -Luke 12:31

"Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. -Luke 12:32

Why the Lord calls His little flocks ? Doesn’t that mean that the Lord will shepherd us ? Yes, He will.

Don’t we as sheep of the Lord hear His voice ? Don’t be anxious. Fear not ! Since we heard His voice ! We as His sheep believe that He will shepherd us not to be anxious and not to fear !

Won’t we wonder how the Lord will shepherd us ?
If we are not to be anxious ! Doesn’t the Lord shepherd by assuring us with His words?
If we are not to fear ! Doesn’t the Lord shepherd us with His love?

Yes, the Lord will shepherd us with His words of love.

Where will the Lord shepherd us to ? Isn’t He shepherding us to the kingdom of His Father ? Yes, for it is our Heavenly Father's good pleasure to give us, His children the kingdom.

Since it is our Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom; it can be said that our Heavenly Father will cause us to inherit.

And this is what we have heard:
Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, INHERIT the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. -Matthew 25:34

Can we said that those who inherit the kingdom to have seek and found the kingdom ?

So can we say that those seek the kingdom to have done this :

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, -Matthew 25:35
I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' -Matthew 25:36
Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? -Matthew 25:37
And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? -Matthew 25:38
And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' -Matthew 25:39
And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' -Matthew 25:40

Doesn’t that mean when we did to one of the least of these whom the Lord calls brothers, that we have seek the kingdom ?

Doesn’t that mean when we did what the Lord have said, that we have seek the kingdom ?

when we saw the hungry, thirsty, stranger, the naked, the sick or those in prison ? Don’t we show love and compassion to another ? Doesn’t the Lord shepherd us with love, that we may show love and compassion to others ?

So can we say those seek the kingdom are those who love one of the least of these whom the Lord calls brothers, as they have loved the Lord ?

I believe so.

Please share what you understand and perceive how you have seek the kingdom that the Lord told us to. May the Lord enlighten us so that we may understand and do the things that He has told us to do.

Blessings in Christ Jesus. If you are truly born from above(and I see that you are) then The Kingdom is within you. In other words He is right there with you. All your answers that you seek are already within you, all you need do is ask. All of the commandments that He ask us to do are not burdensome because it is Him in us that desires to do them. It is by His Love that we keep His commandments. It is by willingly laying down our own lives, that He in us starts to lead.(as Lord) This I did long ago, and this is how all of His promises for us, come to pass. There is no anxiousness in Faith just as there is no fear in Love(Him). Picture for a moment, your life as a car. When you where in darkness, you drove where ever you chose. But today you have entered His marvelous Light. Faith is a gift that enters in as He enters in. Faith causes you to believe and faith causes you to trust, (trust Him). And if you truly trust Him, then hop in the back seat and trust Him to drive. And boy what a journey it will be. The early church knew these things and yet there was no cars. Most Christians today say" Jesus take the wheel" but want to sit up front so they can grab the wheel back, when ever things get too tuff. If any one hears these words and applies them, then you will see once again The Power and Authority of The Early Church today. Time is short.

Are we concerned ourselves with the same things with what the Lord concerned about ; when He said :

Instead, seek his kingdom, and THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED TO you. -Luke 12:31

I was curious! Do THESE THINGS refer to what He spoke of in Luke 12:22 ; that said :

And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. -Luke 12:22

Do THESE THINGS refer to our life,

what we will eat, nor about our body, what we will put on ? Or NOT ?

Do THESE THINGS refer to what we find when we seek the kingdom, as we heard :

Instead, seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. -Luke 12:31

Won’t we be concerned whether we have the correct perspective after holding to the promise for many years ?

As we have heard :
"Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. -Luke 12:32

Having the Lord shepherd us with love, we will not fear and further assured since it is our Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom; that can be said to have us inherited the kingdom ; as we have heard:

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, INHERIT THE KINGDOM prepared for you from the foundation of the world. -Matthew 25:34

It can be said those who inherited the kingdom have done what the Lord have said, that is, seek His kingdom ; the Lord have said what they have done in Luke 12:35-40.

when we did to one of the least of these whom the Lord calls brothers, who may have been hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick or those in prison ; we have seek the kingdom ; that we did this as to the Lord.

So wouldn’t THESE THINGS that the Lord add — be those who believe in Him ? And NOT about our life, what we will eat, nor about our body, what we will put on.

For we heard what has been spoken:
INSTEAD, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. -Luke 12:31

So we can say that THESE THINGS that the Lord will be added to us are THOSE WHO BELIEVE.

As we have heard, the disciples whom the Lord spoke to have received THESE THINGS that the Lord have added to them :

praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord ADDED to their number day by day THOSE WHO WERE BEING SAVED. -Acts 2:47

Let us consider about the Lord’s life, what He will eat, about His body, and what He will put on.

About the Lord’s life, this is what we have heard:

even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." -Matthew 20:28

The Lord consider His life is to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.

About what the Lord will eat, this is written:
But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." -John 4:32
So the disciples said to one another, "Has anyone brought him something to eat?" -John 4:33
Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish His work. -John 4:34
Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. -John 4:35

Here, we find that the Lord considered His food as to do the will of the Father who sent and accomplish His work. From the Lord’s own words, we consider His food to be the harvest of those who believe in Him.

About His body, this is written:
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is my body." -Matthew 26:26

Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. -John 6:54

I find that the Lord considered those who eat His body whom He will save and raise up on the last day.

About what the Lord will put on :
He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped Himself in zeal as a cloak. -Isaiah 59:17

Surely, what the Lord consider about His life, what He will eat, about His body, and what He will put on are very different from what we may have perceived before.

Didn’t we receive this counsel :
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. -Ephesians 5:1
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. -Ephesians 5:2

Didn’t our Lord call us His little flocks and told us not to fear — for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom ?

So as children of God, let us follow the leading of our Shepherd, that is, to seek the kingdom. For we who have seek the kingdom are —-those who love one of the least whom the Lord calls brothers not in words but in deeds and in truth.

Yes, let us align to what the Lord have considered THESE THINGS THAT WILL BE ADDED TO US.

And be thankful what He has added to us.
Let us acknowledge what He considers precious — THOSE WHO WERE BEING SAVED.
