I'm one of those people who fail at everything. Nearly every little thing I do. Even when praying nothing happens. I find myself cussing God out because he made me this way. I'm to the point where I don't even care if I make it to heaven. I don't even know what to do. I pray for answers on how to live but don't hear anything.

We are all failures. It’s ok. I also get into this mindset.

But the good news is, it’s not about us, but about Christ. He is so merciful, holy, kind, generous, patient, and real. He died for us. We can not do anything right, I hear you. Continuing on can be very tough.

Trust in Christ. Talk to Him about how you are feeling.

What are you expecting to happen when you pray? To hear God's voice? That is not how it works.

The answers to life's problems are graciously given to us from God in the Bible you simply need to get acquainted with it. It is life's user-manual - don't read it at your pearl.

There are many reasons why prayer is not answered, some are:
1) Your in sin and need to repent and get born-again
2) You ask with wrong motives
3) You doubt
4) It may not be God's will for you to have what you ask for (for your own good, though you may not see it at the time)
5) You may have to live out the consequence of your sin and therefore the circumstances will not change (you reap what you have sown - a Bible principle).
6) The distressful situation you may be in is meant to drive you towards God in dependance

I don't know what your situation is, but whatever difficulty you face, if your a child of God, though he may not remove you out of the situation, He will be with you going through it and you will hopefully be the better for it.

God understands our emotions and how strong they can be at times. But in them, don't forget reverence for the Lord. God is your ever-Friend and the way out of what you're in. Keep returning to Him, invoking 1Jn 1:9.

I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD. - Psa 40:1-3

. I pray for answers on how to live but don't hear anything.

Ever worked in a big company, a firm where the head office is in another city ?
Did the chairman turn up every day to tell you what to do?
Or did the local manager assign a team leader to instruct you?

It is the same in Christianity, you have the company instructions, how to do things in the Bible and for simplicity laid out in ten easy to follow steps known as the ten commandments.

Do you know why satan is called the accuser? It is because he likes to tell us how bad we are and how we cannot do anything right and that God does not love us because we are unlovable or because God does not exist. You have to be careful of which spirits you listen to. The spirit of God tells us we are loved, we can do anything, we are over comers, that God wants to bless us and is always there for us. Listen to God, read the word of God, then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

I'm one of those people who fail at everything.

Welcome to the club! We are all of us failures in the ways that are most important to God. But, He is in the business of transforming failures into bright, shining lights for Him, "little Christs," who are His hands and heart to a lost and dying world.

Even when praying nothing happens.

What do you think should happen when you pray? Are you praying from a Christ-centered, holy life? God says He will not hear the prayers of the unrighteous (Psalms 66:18; Isaiah 59:2; 1 Peter 3:12) but that the prayers of a righteous person avail much with Him. (James 5:16) Is this you? Are you a righteous person, walking with God in a holy, Christ-honoring way?

I find myself cussing God out because he made me this way.

Just who do you think God is, exactly, that you feel you can cuss Him out?

Ecclesiastes 5:2
2 Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and you upon earth: therefore let your words be few.

Matthew 12:35-37
35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil.
36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,
37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

If there is anyone who does not deserve to be cussed out, it is God. He has not made a mistake in how He made you. And in any case, He is far more interested in the condition of your heart than in the capacities of your mind, or the athleticism of your body, or the attractiveness of your outward appearance. Your heart, your eternal soul, is what matters most. If you'll let Him, God will make it a thing of stunning beauty, more precious by far in His sight than the things the World calls important.

I'm to the point where I don't even care if I make it to heaven. I don't even know what to do. I pray for answers on how to live but don't hear anything.

When our emotions run away with us, we can get to feeling things that are ridiculous, eh? You weren't made for time but for eternity. If you live for now rather than for the forever to come, you will spend eternity wishing you hadn't. Your eternal future is not something about which to let yourself grow careless. That's just the sort of thinking the devil delights in seeing people adopt. He's thrilled you've grown so sour inside.

God tells you in His word what He wants you to do. Are you studying His word carefully every day? Are you memorizing it and living by it, as God tells all of His children to do?

Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Psalm 119:11
11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Psalm 119:105
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Matthew 4:4
4 But Jesus answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

1 Peter 2:2
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:

In the Bible you have all the instructions you need to live as God wants you to. He gives you in Scripture, commands, spiritual principles, wisdom and truth that you are to use to navigate through life successfully. If you are "at sea" about what to do with yourself, with your life, it is, at least in part, because you aren't being guided by God's love letter to you that tells you how He wants you to live.

It is not uncommon to hear nothing from God, God has spoken to me sometimes, but most of the time it is deathly silent. God loves you regardless of whether he speaks to you or not. My life was once in a similar place to yours, I hated life, and I thought God hated me, so what did I do? Naturally, I hated God back. Yet over time, God was able to undo the lies I believed, I now know that God has good plans for me.

Some examples of things I believed:

- I believed God hated me and would end up in hell
- I believe because God hated me I would never be married or have a family
- I wanted to commit suicide but was afraid to die

Now moving forward some years:
- I know God wants me in heaven
- I am happily married, have a wife and family
- I now love life

Your life can change hugely as you keep hanging onto the good things of God, rather than focus on the percieved bad.

I sin like you do @Eishiba . I know it’s wrong, but He does forgive me. He understands, He has made my way and expects me to execute it. It’s not that bad, just keep at it. His spirit will appear in the way you live your life. Sin repent, pray find peace and then act. There are no mistake proof paths. He loves you so much. I don’t want to remain in this sin. Slow down, embrace the pain and walk. God is not to blame.

I only think I’m weak. I only think I can’t handle it. He doesn’t test us too much. Many people are going through many things but through Him they are able. And if you fall God will pick you up and put you on your feet. If you don’t want him to say I never knew you then get to know him and Him you.

im glad to make your acquaintance someone like me, but don’t be so hard on yourself, count your blessings.

And God looked upon all that He had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

I don't think I can say anything better than what @anna ~ grace said above. I just want to add that you aren't alone in feeling this way. In a sense, welcome to being human, we are all failures, sometimes in universal ways such as our sin; and also in our own unique ways.

The other thing I want to say is you can't put God in a bad mood. Cussing Him out isn't going to hurt His feelings. God is kind, patient, loving, and forgiving--so He already forgives you of that; and so the address to that is to search your own heart out. Anger toward God isn't going to hurt His feelings, you can't make Him love you any less. But anger can foster into resentment, and resentment into hatred, and hatred can manifest itself in many ways in one's life that hurt and injure both yourself and other people in your life. Repentance isn't about appeasing God, but about understanding our own sinfulness and the weight of that sin, grief over that sin in how it is not God's will for us, and that it hurts others--and even ourselves. Repentance therefore mortifies us, that we might with contrite and humble hearts hear God's mercy, of His love for us sinners, and the forgiveness we have in Jesus Christ from His Gospel.

That isn't a condemnation against you, but rather an invitation to self-examination and introspection. Something all of us, no matter who we are, should be doing.

The Church isn't a country club for saints, but a hospital for sinners. We are God's Church of losers, failures, fools, dropouts, and scoundrels. Our Lord did not come to call the righteous, but the unrighteous to repentance; the Good Physician did not come for the healthy, but the sick. For you and me.

OK so you are alive and breathing. God has blessed you with another day. People who are failures are people who are at least trying. Failure is just a time when things haven’t come together. But those who persevere are the winners. Are you a grateful person? If not this may be the place to focus.

First of all you can be grateful that you are alive. You can be grateful that you have another day, another chance. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I see you getting up, brushing yourself off and putting one foot in front of the other. I know for me when I fail it is an opportunity to learn. It may also be an opportunity to teach someone else and together you may find a way to make things work. Failure gives me an opportunity to try again. I pray that you will find it in your heart to seek ways to be grateful for all you have been given. I pray that you will know that God is with you.

Here is a number-855 382 5433- you could call and ask for hope. It might be the best and most important call you ever make. Hope is there for the asking. God has a plan for you. You were created for a purpose. He loves you, He cares for you in every way. He is waiting for you to need Him. He wants to walk and talk with you, share your life and give you blessings. He will help you to put feet to your prayers. Listen for the still small voice of God. The more you do it the clearer it will become. I know for me. Sometimes I don't hear clearly so I at least try something. Usually I know very quickly whether I am on track with God's plan or doing it on my own. Step into the water and He will make the way.

You have been given today. How will you choose to use it? Don’t worry about failure. There is no way to fail if you are trying. Trying is success in its own right. I am praying for you. God bless you. You are a precious child of God and He has something waiting for you today. Go out and claim this day in the power of the name of Jesus. He will help you.

When a person is saved and hears that “you are a new creation,” “you are a child of God,” “He will give you whatever you ask,” “you have the power of the Holy Spirit,” it is natural that a young Christian sees magic, instantaneous transformation, infallibility and want to see results based on how they want to see it manifested and not how God described it. It takes time. The transformation within is instantaneous, the power of the Holy Spirit is there, but there are other things such as our submission, our giving Him the driver’s seat, our aligning our will with His. Imagine a seedling surrounded by giant formidable oak trees. It wants to be like them as soon as possible. But these oak trees took years to slowly get where they are. Same with Christianity. My advice to you is be patient, abide in Him, read His Word daily and read commentaries to help you properly understand them. One of the first things I did was buy a Life Study Bible, that was a good advice given to me. Then join a Bible Study group where the teaching and discussion is sound, that is, compare what the members are saying to other sources. Finally, people who succeed in their career, wealth and fortune goals, but are not saved are going to lose all of it. As one author said, “It is sad that many people succeed in things that do not really matter.” When a person is saved, he is already a success, a winner and has secured his final fate. I suggest you read and study the book of Ephesians and appreciate what you have been given.

Eishiba, be careful what you adopt as truth. Ground yourself in the truth of God's word; make it your foundation.

Don't be deceived: moral failure, sin, is not okay with God. Yes, we sin - and sometimes we fail this way often. But God doesn't shrug His shoulders and say, "Oh, well." His forgiveness of your sin was purchased at a great and terrible price by His Son. It greatly disrespects and cheapens Jesus's atoning sacrifice when you tell yourself that you can sin and its okay because God will forgive you. Moral failure, sin, is never okay with God.

Moral failure, sin, isn't harmless, just making us feel guilty for a while. It deafens us, and blinds us, and corrupts our thinking; it desensitizes our conscience (1 Timothy 4:2); worst of all, it grieves the Holy Spirit and breaks our fellowship with God (Psalms 66:18; Isaiah 59:2; 1 Peter 3:12). And sin always brings death of some kind to our lives (Romans 6:23; James 1:15). Death of joy, of peace, of contentment, even physical death, and, for many, eternal death in hell. Don't treat sin lightly.

Tell yourself the truth about who you are in Christ. You aren't just a screw-up, a failure, a sinner who is powerless to be otherwise. God says to you, that, if you are one of His, you are a new creature in Christ, old things are passed away and you have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) You are a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17); you are a saint, a priest, a king (Revelation 1:5-6; Ephesians 2:18-10); you have been freed from the power of sin (Romans 6:1-11) and delivered from the power of darkness (Colossians 1:12); you are now a child of the Light (Ephesians 5:8).

"The me I see is the me I'll be," a wise man has pointed out. If you think of yourself as just a failure, a loser, a no-good, don't be surprised when you live like it. Instead, know who you really are as a born-again child of God and then, by faith, live in the truth of that new, spiritual identity.
