Telling the truth about history isn't wrong. And I cant believe lefties are being blamed for this. Christians and all people need to grow up and own up to there evil history.

Nobody tells "the truth".
Nobody has an "evil" history so we trust
you mean, " the evil IN their history".

Moral judgements of historical figures offer nothing to the realm of knowledge or understanding.

I have no problem with examining the facts and considering motives....

But if the goal is to judge the morals of those now dead.....you probably have some agenda and aren't worth the discussion.

Hste...force...
Not crecible.

You are required to school your children....truancy is a crime...basic education is considered a right.

It is a right that deserves to be free of the corruption inherent in indoctrination.

Living here I've kind of heard of indoctrination.

In USA it seems like it's indoctrination if it is religious,
Indoctrination if it isnt.

Moral judgements of historical figures offer nothing to the realm of knowledge or understanding.

If an historical figure comitted racists acts and said racist things then that's knowledge we can use to perhaps determine the reasons for his or her positions on relevant matters.

And I think that classifying someone as being a racist is then a moral judgement. To what extent we can blame someone for that is another matter.

Good to see you trust polling.

Poll: 7 in 10 Black Americans Say They Have Experienced Incidents of Discrimination or Police Mistreatment in Their Lifetime, Including Nearly Half Who Felt Their Lives Were in Danger

If you believed that as fact....you would be wrong roughly 30% of the time.

Even if you don't believe the poll, clearly some people are claiming to be black and not experiencing racism.

You done here? Or would you like me to go into greater detail about why you are wrong?
the poll asked about 6 specific instances of racism. half of which involved racism at the hands of the police. The poll wasn't asking if someone had experience racism, rather it was asking if you have experienced these 6 things.

What about being called racial slurs?
What about racism experienced in schools?
What about bias rooted in racial stereotypes?
What about ideological forms of racism include the belief that Black women are sexually promiscuous, and that Black men and boys are criminally oriented?
What about representational racism?
What about racial profiling?

racism takes on many forms and if you want to uphold your claim you need to look at all of them

what books would these be exactly?

I'm guessing you got a failing grade on that paper. The founding fathers did study Native American governments when they began forging first the articles of Confederacy and later the Constitution. Europe didn't have any models of representative democracy to guide the framers of the Constitution but the Native American's did.

I believe some of our constitution was modeled on that of the Iroquois Confederation.

What if the questions aren't fully understood? For example what would make a person think that black women are sexually promiscuous or that black men are criminally oriented in the first place?

Much of what is deemed racism is really just preference.

Just a shot in the dark here...but if you know a lot of the people in question and none of them are, for example, promiscuous, then it would make you think that no, they (as a group) aren't.

Personally speaking, I'd qualify my statement with something like 'In my experience...' in case someone wanted to argue the point with some facts and figures they'd found that contradicted my personal opinion.

where the racist stereotypes come from isn't the issue, the issue is have people experienced this form of racism

I also think the basis of this poll is flawed.

But what is the basis of this 'racism'? Is the basis of promiscuity the large number of unwed pregnancies. Is the basis of male criminality the number of incarcerated black men? Do these 'racist stereotypes' have no basis in fact?

To a great degree those things are products of racism.
