Colorado won. They moved the All Star game from a black majority area to a white majority area. The black area loses $100 million in game revenue. Voter ID laws vary:

And just looking into it, Colorado is WAY more liberal on that versus say, my state of TN, where it has to be a photo ID. There's still the provisional ballot if you can't provide that and there are likely exceptions in both states (like if you're indigent or such), but Georgia seems to be more strict, but also has other tangential issues in the recent bill, as I recall.

Do you really think there's some form that the so called "Left" (seriously, who capitalizes it even in political discussion, we're not talking about the left in some general sense, the context would already be clear without the need to capitalize it, like you would a proper noun or such?) has to check all the boxes on or they're hypocrites?

Colorado is arguably far more liberal than Georgia by probably most metrics, so if you're just going by cherry picked stats to fit some idea that this one place is contradicting the whole group ideology that is supposedly held (it's not), then that's not really an entirely honest argument.

Colorado is WAY more liberal

Did you know Denver was the first city to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms..?

...I'm guessing Ayahuasca has probably been decriminalized there as well.

What other metrics would you use to take the game away from a state that has more black voters than white voters? You know, the voters that MLB is supposedly supporting?

Colorado has had mail-in voting since 2014. They don't need to stand in line during limited hours to vote, with or without water. So there is that.
Do you need to have ID to get a ballot?

Last I checked, you still need an ID to pick up a MLB ticket from will call. I am curious as to the reason why.

To prevent fraud, I guess.

I think the bigger question is if anyone is actually going to watch the all star game.
Who has watched it in the past decade anyway? I can see how it's an event that would be fun to attend in person, but as for watching on TV, this ain't like the National Championships or World Series! It's more akin to the NFL Pro Bowl. Who's watched that thing with keen interest lately?

Quote from the State of Colorado under Q&A
If I don't have a Colorado driver's license, Colorado ID card, or social security number, may I still register to vote? Yes. An applicant who is qualified to vote in this state but does not have a driver's license, state-issued identification card, or social security number may still register to vote. In such cases, the person may be required to provide an acceptable form of identification. A list of acceptable forms of identification can be found at www.govotecolorado.gov.
