A healing

Now several years later I saw a documentary on a mission in Africa, I forget the country? And, there were American preachers who prayed for healing to the very large crowd who attended. I remember one young man walk on to the stage with crutches to receive prayer for healing. He could barely walk with crutches. The next day I think it was he returned walking onto the stage with his crutches in his hands walking unaided. In an interview he said he believed he would be healed at the event. And when he was lying down in his bed one night he felt a gentle wind on his leg that caused him much pain and that he couldn't walk on. He was healed. He got up and walked and is now cured.

Back to me. As I mentioned I was very sad this happened to me and so I prayed to God to heal my ankle. One night soon after I was lying in bed about to nod off and I felt a gentle wind swirling around my ankle and foot. I thought to myself can it be that God is healing me like the young man in the documentary? I thought it must be who else can generate a healing wind under bedding and this is what I prayed for so must be the case. I smiled and thought oh my goodness, God is helping me once again. I thought I'd be free of pain but I wasn't 100% sure.

Well, the pain has gone. I believe I was healed by God's spirit. It's been about 10 years since the healing and I haven't experienced the pain since. Amen!
