AOC ranks dead last for effectivness for NYS Congress people

There is a method for removing ineffective people from office. It is called voting.

Remind her constituents she gets an award for participation and let them be satisfied with that

She won by 74% in the primaries and 71% in the general election. Clearly she has the support of her constituents.

71.6% of AOC’s constituents seemed happy enough with her that they sent her back to DC.

I don't think it's "ineffective" to introduce bills which might be too progressive to pass--as long as the Congressperson votes "yes" on the bills that are more moderate but still moving in the direction that (s)he perceives as best for the country. The too-progressive bills encourage people to "think big." They introduce topics that might not have otherwise been talked about.

Using your standards, no Republican would ever be considered "effective" when Democrats were in the majority, and vice-versa. Since 2018, I am sure not a single Republican bill has gone to the House floor--so why pick on AOC?

I think AOC is effective. She inspires others. She leads her small minority coalition.

When we are about to lose hope in Congress when we see the activities of Marjorie Taylor Greene and the extra-congressional activities of Matt Gaetz, she keeps us hopeful.
