There's the historical aspect of Russian elites of various stripes seeing Ukraine as simply a part of Russia that went to its own room for a bit. You'll sometimes hear it called 'the' Ukraine which basically translates to 'the borderland' or in more modern parlance 'the buffer zone'. The imperative to encroach on Europe and make it more Russian or at least breath down it's collective neck, rather than the other way around, has been a constant for a long time too, like the impulse to go and eat the Ben & Jerry's in the freezer, or an itch you just have to scratch. Dostoevsky and Turgenev were arguing about Russia's manifest destiny before communism was a thing.

I believe that the strongest, most capable leader should take the throne by any means necessary, even if it involves force. Leftists like Biden are too effete to pull off something that would require true astonishing power. Great leaders like Donald Trump, Augusto Pinochet, and Francisco Franco have the strength and political acumen to be great autocrats.

Out of curiosity, what made you leave the Republican Party?

I personally know one person who is a former Republican. He was brought up as a conservative Catholic, but he later went to a liberal college and started to adopt different ways of thinking, later becoming a left-wing atheist.

I, and most of the US, would oppose this by any means necessary. I can tolerate almost any difference in opinion or philosophy, but I will not abide this.
