If God truly has us, than what are we worried about? If God truly has us, why all of this posting from people wondering whether they're saved or not or whether or not they're doing the will of God? If God has them they will ALWAYS be doing the will of God! I'm sorry, I cannot believe that if God truly has us that he would lead us down the wrong road just to test us. Or if he does, that we would permanently be down that road till we die and we would ALWAYS overcome that test.

Yes, there is Satan who tries to trick and fool God's people but, God has promised numerous times in the scriptures to protect us from Satan. So if God truly has us, why are we afraid? Why do you wonder time and time again whether or not God is truly with us or if he has forsaken us? Because, God will NEVER leave or forsake us!

It's possible to displease God (But, God is a God who knows ahead of time that he's going to be displeased, and personally died for his wrath of that), but it is NEVER possible to disappoint God. Don't worry, do not be afraid, God has you.

Whether you believe the days of your lives are predetermined or whether you believe you have free will, God already knows every single move you will make, God has ensured you salvation, God died for you. So, do not worry about tomorrow or even today. Because, God has already planned out each and every day of your life and knows when you hurt him, when you succeed in whatever your goal is and ultimately he knows our eternity when we will be able to perfectly serve and obey him not for a hundred, thousand, or even a million years. But, for all of eternity.

While it's not good for a person to be under a spirit of condemnation let's not suggest however that we're not called to examine ourselves.

Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! 2 Cor 13:5

If God has them they will ALWAYS be doing the will of God!

I'm inclined to think you haven't thought through on what you're saying. Paul taught that leaders are to to exhort, reprove or even at times rebuke those who belong to God 2 Tim 4:2 but might be falling into error. God has them and they are his children but how can such mean they're always in the will of God? If they need correction it's to get them into the will of God.

That is actually so not true and easily debunked.
See Ananias and Sapphira , they were told to do one thing but they didn't and lied about it , dropped dead because of it.
If they were ALWAYS doing God's will it would never happen

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "God has us". I believe that I have the Holy Spirit in me but I don't know if I'm saved or not. How could I know that when it's a future event? As to always doing the will of God, God always wills the good and very clearly no one except Christ has ever only ever done good. We all do a mixture of good and bad but obviously to varying degrees.

In case you wonder what the will of God is for you in Christ Jesus is, let me share with you some scripture.

14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, (gently by the holy spirit) warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16 Rejoice always,

17 pray continually,

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. ( Do not let the spirit die, continue in faith and trust in God, and the Lord Jesus Christ)

20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt (A warning to not to treat prophecies with contempt - an encouragement to the thessalonians)

21 but test them all; hold on to what is good,

22 reject every kind of evil. (Evil here means inwardly from the heart of maliciousness)

23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (This is a letter to the Thessalonians - who were encouraged to wait on the Lords Coming)

24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. (God is faithful and he called you Thessalonians, and he will keep you blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ)

25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us. 26 Greet all God’s people with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters.

28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

We must not be afraid and not worry that it is too late and that one can not find God's will for one for Jesus shows those who read His word and pray to Him but we need to be worried and if we are not doing so we must make sure we are ready at all times to make sure we are living in Him doing His will and watching waiting His return and we should be doing so now because we do not know when we will die and if we would have sought the oil while we had opportunity to be able to find it before death the wise virgins knew they have a responsibility to be faithful to what He taught them and made sure they knew christ by talking to Him often so that they could be sure they are living in Him

But, for all of eternity.

Before I came to see that God has all this in hand, and that everything depends on him (No, I am not saying I needn't obey, repent, etc), and that he does all this FOR HIS OWN SAKE, whenever I strayed I often feared I had fooled myself, and hadn't really "accepted Christ". (It was, after all, rather obvious I didn't fit the descriptions of a believer I read about in Scripture). Also, it seemed to me that I was just lacking that one last bit of information that would explain my continual wandering and would give me the ability to finally be faithful to obey. Godly sorrow was eclipsed by confusion and fear. The more I read in Scripture the less sure I was that I belonged to him, because I KNEW I was fickle and selfish and lacking in integrity. The thought that the Judge of all the earth will do what is right, produced fear in me, unless I had recently repented and was currently pursuing holiness.

Since learning that I cannot generate true faith, but it comes from God and depends on God, I find myself most the time not even thinking about whether I am one of those to whom he has chosen to show mercy; instead my mind is occupied with the nature and greatness of God, and my sins produce an aching I can't describe.

There seems no end of 'before and after' contrasts. Huge among them is the freedom of knowing that whatever is going on with me is by God's plan. I used to hear it was up to me to figure out 'God's will for my life' and to be faithful to pursue it, including even having to catch back up to the train when I had gotten off it. Now I know I am always exactly where he had expected me to be at this point --not where he had commanded, but where he had planned. What God has begun in me is not mine to complete or even to know --it is God who will bring to completion what he has started.

The "Judge of all the earth doing right" brings unspeakable joy to me now. My motivation is to walk with him, to be with him, to be like him --not fear of hell.

There's a lot more, but I run long already.

I can see that your theology is causing some error in your post. A few people have pointed this out. One glaring thing to me is this comment "Its possible to displease God but it is NEVER possible to disappoint God". Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God in the flesh, was very disappointed with the rejection He received from His own people, Israel.

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing."

What I mean by "God has you" is that God is watching over you, God is telling you what to do in your life where to go, and what to say.

As to what you said? It sounds like you're uncertain and a little frightened. If a person has the Holy Spirit there is no possible way they cannot be saved. But, don't take my word for it, check what the Apostles (and Jesus) said.

John 14:16

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,

Last I checked, when God uses the word forever, he means forever. But, there's more.

Revelation 3:5

The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

Jesus here is quoting the Apostle John when he wrote 1 John 5:4 where he says

"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."

Or my personal favorite Apostle: Peter.

1 Peter 1:3-5

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who tby God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Or what about Paul?

Ephesians 1:13-14

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

The point is, if you have the Holy Spirit you have salvation. If you don't, you don't. If you believe you have the Holy Spirit than, there is no possible way you cannot be saved. Because, the Holy Spirit is our deposit for what is to come. He lives in us to guide us into God's will and to be our helper in times of need. Even in times of Prayer when we don't know what to say, he intercedes and prays on our behalf.

What I mean by "God has you" is that God is watching over you, God is telling you what to do in your life where to go, and what to say.

And yet you said in your OP , If God truly has us, why all of this posting from people wondering whether they're saved or not or whether or not they're doing the will of God? Well the fact is there's alot of Christians AND Calvanists aren't sure if they feel they have the confidence that God is in their lives. So why shouldn't they be asking questions.

If God has them they will ALWAYS be doing the will of God! I'm sorry,

I'm sorry too but sorry you're just plane wrong. Even when it can be argued that some individuals or many are Christians DOESN'T MEAN they're always doing the will of God. You're wanting to make it seem like they are. How can they be always in the will of God when you read this,

That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself. That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died. But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way. Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world. So, my dear brothers and sisters when you gather for the Lord’s Supper, wait for each other. If you are really hungry, eat at home so you won’t bring judgment upon yourselves when you meet together. 1 Cor 11: 28

God had all of these people but some were grieving God and found themselves being judged...they became weak and sick and some even died. So how can they be in the will of God and be disobedient at the same time? So the fact must be Christians aren't ALWAYS in the will of God. Thus even the exhortation to examine oneself.....meaning ask yourself some questions or don't be presumptuous. Your writing seem to encourage Christians not to ask the questions. I think we all better and not to take things lightly.

You're assuming one saved always saved (OSAS) which IMO is a little silly (sorry)

All I did was read scripture and what the Apostles and God said and took it seriously as did a few popes and saints of old. What's silly about that? I'm sorry I called it silly though, I regret saying that now and have edited from my post. I should have never said it it was highly insensitive of me but, what is strange about reading and interpreting scripture for what it actually says? When both Paul and Peter called scripture infallible? It is after all the word of God that can never change or will never be changed because it came out of the mouth of God.

I was mostly trying to make you feel better, it wasn't supposed to be an attack but if you don't want to be comforted that's fine with me.

I don't find OSAS comforting though because I don't think I could ever know for sure that I have been saved, so I can't really get comfort from that. What gives.me comfort is the thought that God will judge us all fairly and that He's merciful.
