Tell it to someone who hasn't heard that line before and also is likely to believe tall tales.
That is exactly why she was there. She believed the election was stolen and was there to get Congress to change it (even though it is not in Congress's power to change it).

She could not believe her side lost and was looking to change things so that her side won, by force if need be. She was a wannabe revolutionary that was against our Constitution, even though she didn't think she was.

If they force their way inside and start threatening folks you won't see me here saying they shouldn't have been shot.
Let's remember this post the next time BLM rioters smash through a store window and get shot in the face.

Did that happen? If so, was there a lot of complaining when it did?

Because that's what the crowd was there to do, if you listen to the audio.

We've already established what their intentions were. The fact that they missed the targeted officials by a minute or two isn't much of a defense.

The aim of the the protestors was to disrupt and delay the ratification of the election results to protest election fraud. Which they did. Had all of them stayed out of the Capitol, they would have been largely ignored by the press...

Trespassing on government property generally doesn’t warrant deadly force. It’s a misdemeanor offense.

Try busting through the gates at Cheyenne Mountain while armed guards yell at you to stop and lemme know how that goes.

What exactly do you think would happen if you and a large group of friends tried to smash your way into the White House?

Maybe you can educate us all how one woman getting killed forcing her way into congress to try to overturn a legal election makes her like Crispus Atticus. That's on you though.
I believe you just educated everyone here for me.....thank you......

Not fire a lethal weapon into a crowd. Why is it now people are acting like opening fire into a crowd of protesters somehow acceptable at any level?
Let me answer!!!!!!!!Let me answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....because they are not liberal protesters?

We've already seen what happens when an innumerable series of such attacks upon federal property occur. No hypothetical event such as you are suggesting needs to be the test.

The response is anything BUT shooting to kill!

Nice cut out of the rest of my post, since it questions your sincerity here.
I couldn't get past your first question because it was a loaded question with false assumptions. And now, instead of addressing my questions, (which is something I've been asking all along), you're assigning motives to me. Please stick to the topic, and leave personal remarks aside.

And I do think all police training and use of force rules need to be looked at,
Agreed.

This is what I've been trying to get at. In particular, people want to know about use of force rules of the Capitol Police, and if they were followed in this incident.

I think it is odd that the shooting of someone looking to disrupt the business of the government in verifying the election and changing that vote to start to question these rules.
I disagree.

There are too many nuanced variables and questionable claims to consider. It isn't as black and white as some are making it to be. Thus, my questions.

I believe the few times it happened it was the store owner who was charged.
Got any examples or links?
I would be interested in hearing all these stories about store owners being charged for shooting looters. Has there even been such a court case?

It was ONE.....ONE woman......for crying out loud......excessive force anyone?
It's interesting that you hear complaints a terrorist getting killed during the Capitol insurrection, but when a 12-year old like Tamir Rice is gunned down by police while playing in the park, it's treated as if he had it coming. It's the same attitude of those that see no problem or encourage peaceful protesters be run over for blocking traffic. Now you have a violent insurrection, and now there is screaming, "She's a woman!" And it was only one woman that came through because police acted accordingly to prevent a violent mob from reaching elected officials and staff.

She was a traitor to her country and she got shot while posing a threat to elected officials in an attempt to overthrow a democratic election . She got exactly what traitors should expect.

If you don't like that, then that sucks for you. Maybe spend a bit less time worrying about traitors in future.

Yes, she was a traitor to her country, despite the fact that she was a veteran. She was an avid believer in the conspiracy that shall not be named on this site, which would help explain her insane decision to storm the Capitol in an effort to overturn the presidential election. The word traitor is now attached to her name. The word traitor has tarnished her memory, including her military service. Many Americans will remember her as a traitor to her country and they will know that she died a pointless death.

Bah. This isn't just any federal building, this is the Capitol Building we're talking about. Buncha yahoos smash their way in, you stop them by any means necessary, up to and including lethal force. Doesn't matter who they are. The Trumpists got off easy, if you ask me.

And I know plenty of military facilities in the US that can and will use lethal force to keep people out if necessary.

Did any Antifa protestors storm a government building, breaking down barricades, trying to reach, and possibly accost, the government officials they believed to be inside? I don't recall that ever happening - what I recall is a lot of antics outside the building and maybe a couple folks getting into a garage.

I would be interested in hearing all these stories about store owners being charged for shooting looters. Has there even been such a court case?

There's probably been one somewhere, but I'd be interested in hearing these details, too.

There are all kinds of relevant facts. I don't know them all, nor do you. What I'd like to see are all the facts and all questions answered....the results of a full investigation.

You wouldn’t accept the results of an investigation. That’s the Trepublican way, when you don’t get the result you want, call for another investigation, and so on ad infinitum. Maybe you didn’t get the enormous public memo?
