Actually it seems to be about the only part of my writing in this game that they actively like.

Hopefully they'll like the part of the game, in a month or two when Draygone gets to it, where Dusk finally confesses his love for Sarah and is shocked to hear her reciprocate. ^-^

Don’t sell yourself short. First efforts aren’t pretty. I have copies of things I wrote years ago and scratch my head. Someone told me my writing improved and I was offended. Now I understand. It’s tighter and writing copy strengthened my voice but at the time I was miffed.

So no worries. Take two will be even better!

Oh, I'm not. I am actually quite fond of what I wrote overall, for its idealism and yes, even naivety. I am just willing to see all of the genuine little flaws here and there in the story and dialogue where I truly believe there are some. They are simply inoffensive mistakes and flaws, I think. Stuff that doesn't turn an audience away in disgust or anger, like being tasteless or immature. And in any event, it's nice to see that my attempts at genuine emotion in scenes and character development appear to have reached some of Draygone's audience for this Let's Play, even if at the same time they have their complaints.

Good! It's important to take pride in your work and I believe in encouraging first efforts. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there. Writing something no one sees is easy. But subjecting it to scrutiny takes guts. Kudos to you for doing so.

I don't write fiction but I have a lot of resources on the process. If you pick up the pen feel free to ask. I'll point you in the right direction.

Chillin' today after a crazy busy week. It's been frustrating as I've had many significant hurdles to overcome, but slowly have been making progress over time. I won't lie - it's been intense.

Also decided to revive another project with @Multifavs that we started awhile back. Should be exciting to see it take off. :hoho:

Would just like to share the words of another member, Eftsoon, from elsewhere on this site that I just found. I think they are sage =>

Worshipping God is not something mandated, it is simply the universe unfolding in truth. What alternative is there when faced with God? Worship is simply the recognition of who God is. It is right response to reality. God does not mandate or demand worship, it is simply the only possible orientation we can have towards Him as our sustainer.

I claim that God is actually the most humble and least egoistic being in the universe. God is , of course, the greatest of all beings. He is the primordial one, and the sustainer of all things. At the same time, it was always His intention to become embodied within the creation He created in order to become our salvation and redemption. He intended , from the beginning, to become our sacrifice. He had His sights set on Bethlehem before the dawn of time.

Life is wonderful! There will always be a place where you fall short or things aren't where you desire. But when you consider the whole you're further than you realize.

You should be gearing up for spring and working on your game. Take a class at the yacht club or something you've wanted to explore.

Stop dwelling on what's amiss. You'll never be 100% everywhere until you join Him. Make peace with it and live!

I had an experience along those lines. A comment was made which suggested the individual was doing me a favor and if I desired a lesser scenario I should look elsewhere. I was flabbergasted by the remark and its audacity. They can't step into my world unless I fund it.

I came away with the understanding the person would never see me as Christ did. There would always be some form of competition. It would never end until they felt we were equal.

So don't worry about it. God sees your heart and theirs too. Goodness has a reward. I'm living it and so are you.

A man pulls down his mask in a grocery store and plants a kiss on a baby's lips. He didn't know the parents or the child. The baby is one.

Requested a ban from the political sections. I know I can't handle it. A lot of them just post looking for fights. I can't respect that. Mods always favor a certain side too.

The place I work for is flirting with the idea of rolling over for the Biden administration and implementing the covid passport.

I notified them that if they go that way that I will immediately tender my resignation.

I've given enough. I've been compliant enough.

I'm in a city that's 50-50. My employer knows to tread lightly when it comes to stuff like this. I suspect it won't last tho.
