2 Peter 3:4. Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.

The carnal mind tends toward understanding the beginning of creation as a point in time.
Understanding the Spirit of Truth begins with knowing that the beginning of creation is
the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Revelation 3:14. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things
say the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

The Logos Theos
The Son of God pre-existed creation. He was in the beginning with God, and for all creation, He is God.
The Holy Spirit hovered over the virgin Mary even as in creation hovering hovering the face
of the waters, and she conceived the child Jesus.
The Son of God became the son of man, and as a young boy of 12, showed Himself to be
the Dayspring, the source of Divine Wisdom, in the temple at Jerusalem before many witnesses, experts of the Law.
At the age of 30, Jesus the son of man, was baptized by John to ‘fulfill all righteousness’,
and the spirit descended on Him and remained, taking on the seed of Abraham, The Christ.

Hebrews 2:16. For verily he took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on him
the seed of Abraham.
Galatians 3:16. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

The Perfection of Beauty
Hebrews 2:10.
For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 5:
8
Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.

Was the Son of God perfected, or the Seed of Abraham, The Christ?
The Christ is the Spirit of just men made perfect.

Hebrews 12:
22
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven,
to God the Judge of all, to the Spirit of just men made perfect.

And so Jesus prayed for all who would serve Him.
John 17:
17
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 And for their sake I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Perfected in the Love of the Father.

John 17:23. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

1 John 4:
17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears is not perfected in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

Context is everything...

It is "the wicked" in 2 Peter 3 saying "for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation"

2 Petr 3 is about the world - and sin on planet Earth.

3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.”

5 For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed by being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.

8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered.

Sure. But the topic of the thread is "the beginning of creation", not "the wicked world".

No, the point is that the Son of God is that:

Rev 3:14 NASB
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Origin of the creation of God, says this:

NIV
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.

Robertson's Word Pictures of the New Testament;
"The beginning of the creation of God (η αρχη της κτισεως του τεου — hē archē tēs ktiseōs tou theou). Not the first of creatures as the Arians held and Unitarians do now, but the originating source of creation through whom God works (Colossians 1:15, Colossians 1:18, a passage probably known to the Laodiceans, John 1:3; Hebrews 1:2, as is made clear by Revelation 1:18; Revelation 2:8; Revelation 3:21; Revelation 5:13).

The Christ ceased to be one man when Jesus ascended into heaven, but is One Spirit
for one body, with the Son of God the Head.

2 Corinthians 5:
16
Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we
have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.

The saints access their perfection of spirit by sanctification from the world.
Hebrews 10:14. For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified.
