Matthew 6:
3 When you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand
is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret(kryptos);
4 and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
Matthew 6:6 When you pray, go into your room, and when you shut your door, pray
to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret(kryptos)
will reward you openly.
Matthew 6:18. When you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do
not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and
your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
The Secret Life Manifests The Spirit
Colossians 3:
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where
Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden(kryptos) with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
2 Corinthians 4:2. We have renounced the hidden(kryptos) things of shame, not
walking in craftiness, not handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation
of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
1 Timothy 4:
14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with
the laying on of the hands of the elders.
15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may
be evident to all.
16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you
will save both yourself and those who hear you.
Matthew 5:14. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot
be hidden (kryptos).
All Secrets Revealed In Judgment
Luke 8:17. For nothing is secret(kryptos) that will not be revealed, nor hidden (apokryphos) that will not be known and come to light.
Luke 12:3. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light,
and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
1 Timothy 5:
24 Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding to judgment, but those of some
follow later.
25 Likewise, the good works are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot
be hidden(kryptos).
1 Corinthians 4:5. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes,
who will both bring to light the hidden(kryptos) things of darkness and reveal the
counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.
Through the hidden life, the saints experience the faithfulness of the Lord.
Psalm 27:5. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret
of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Psalm 31:20. You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots
of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
Job 10:
12 You have granted me life and favor, and your visitation has preserved my spirit.
13 And these things you have hidden in your heart: I know that this is with You.
